Singleton Fiber Processing Lie

I had my fleeces made into rug yarn and roving from Mary and Dwayne at Singleton Fiber and it is so awesome!! They are reliable and very friendly

The process took 10 months even though I was told it would take less than 2. One of the Merino fleeces I sent them came back smelling like it had not been washed at all. The fleece is still very greasy and poorly carded. The fiber came from a very high quality animal. The friend that I shared the fleece with made a sweater out of her half and it is gorgeous wool! Mine unfortunately will have to go in the trash along with the $125 I am out. The mill refused to work with me for a refund even though I spent several hundred dollars with them and was patient with their inaccurate processing times given over and over.
