1 star too good for this joint. If looking barbecue don't even stop here for these people have no idea about barbecue. Don't have brisket, chicken, sausage, baked potatos, sweet potatoes or sides cole slaw, but can get smoked potato salad. combo plates (pulled pork and tri cut steak for don't have brisket) totally uneatable meats dried out and tough couldn't even chew it. Like sign says where south meets west we smoke everything, and they mean it. Potato salad, rolls rubbed with dry rub and smoked. It appears they throw everything on menu in the smoker. Service leaves lot to desire after being seated and and served if need anything after you initially serve good luck getting waitress attention. Don't know where or who taught these people to barbecue but these people totally destroy food by smoking everything from the bread to including the pico degiao on top of their so called baked beans. No brisket, no sausages, no chicken but can get chicken nuggets or wings, questionable ribs (single not racks). Definately not a barbeque joint but want a be. Waffle sweet potato fries seasoned and smoked.
Wow this place is always top notch, the staff is excellent, the food is amazing. DENIM, the bartender/waiter is the best. I will definitely keep comming back.
Bad service, worse customer service, uncooked meat, unprofessional staff, owner harasses customers and staff.
Thought I would give them a try since they were awarded the gold for Best Barbecue in the Best of Pueblo and was awarded best entrée two years in a row at the Flavor of Pueblo. I can see why!! This was the BEST BBQ I have ever had and I have had a lot of BBQ. The homemade sauce was excellent. All there side dishes were homemade, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, pinto beans and fresh cut fries. What a Great meal!! I'll be a regular from now on. Keep up the good work
My horrendous experience at Adam’s Rib Bar-B-Que located at 3414 N Elizabeth St in Pueblo, CO.My wife went to pick us up some dinner from this so called “bbq” establishment. Our meals were devoid of any flavor, seasoning, and left us with a ripped off feeling. What we ordered was the The Adam’s Philly and The Grilled Chicken Sandwich with a side of Walmart Potato Salad and Pinto Beans. The Philly was topped with slimy onions and cheap American cheese with no sort of offer of a sauce to top it. The bun was soggy and stale. The brisket tasted like it had been long refrigerated and old. The only authentic item in this meal was the pinto beans. Besides that, I could have gotten a better sandwich at the convenience store. The “Grilled” Chicken Sandwich was a too tiny chicken tenderloin pieces on an untoasted 10 cent Walmart bun. The “grilled” chicken was lacking any sort of grill marking. It tasted as though it was either boiled or held in water. No condiments whatsoever were near this sandwich. It was served with the same slimy, warm onions and old pickles as the other meal. This set of meals came to $17.16 and combined weighed about a pound. This meal left my wife and I disgusted and with a feeling of being ripped off. That night I called to complain, but due to some issues with Adam’s Rib’s phone line my call was not answered after the third attempt. Hungry and disappointed we ended our evening. The next day I called again in hopes of speaking with the owner. I reached an employee and explained my situation and readily she offered to remake the meals, this action by the employee was unprompted by me. I accepted her offer and went to pick up the remade order and this time it was somewhat better only because we had the BBQ sauce to mask the old, tasteless brisket.Later that evening I received a call from the owner of the establishment who I assumed was calling to make sure the order was done properly this time, but I was wrong. She harshly asked me “Did you enjoy your FREE meal!?” I was completely astonished that a business owner would take the time to ruin a relationship with a customer so fully. She stated that the items I order the first time were not on her menu and that she prepared them personally. Please check this link and you will see what I order is plainly on the menu (http://adamsribsbbq.com/menu/). She went on to further try to belittle my situation even after I stated that it was not my asking for the meal to be replaced. Before I could come to a resolve, this woman whom I don’t know the name, hung up on me. I called back to ask her name, but she refused to tell me.Please DO NOT do business with Adam’s Ribs. They went out of business once for a reason. They lack quality customer service and have remarkably disgusting food. Don’t believe it… order the “grilled” chicken sandwich and see for yourself.
It wasn't bad. You can order meat by the pound and that's great but the quality of meat wasn't too great.
