Parkview Health System is a nonprofit, community owned health care system that is comprised of Parkview Hospital and its two satellite hospitals, Parkview North and Orthopedic Hospital at Parkview North. Parkview Huntington, Parkview Noble and Parkview Whitley are also part of the Parkview Health System. Each Parkview Hospital began developing the health system in 1994 and officially incorporated in May 1995. Parkview Whitley and Parkview Huntington Hospitals joined the system in 1995 and Parkview Noble Hospital joined in 2000. The Parkview Health Foundations serve as fundraising entities for the individual Parkview Health hospitals located in Allen, Huntington, Noble and Whitley counties, which are all community-owned, nonprofit facilities. Funds are used for the continued improvement of the hospital facilities, equipment, programs and services in accordance with the needs of each community where the hospital is located.
