Filing 2014 tax year it was discovered the tax preparer had incorrectly done taxes for the 2013 year,an amendment was filed.Told it would be covered under Peace of Mind, just bring in letter from IRS when received. Letter received and left at office 6/2015. When we filed taxes this year found out that was a lie. No claim was placed and our refund for 2015 was adjusted for the amount plus fines owed. 2/27/16 office found our letter from June and said they would process claim taking 2-3 weeks.Following week we received letter explaining the penalties from the IRS and brought it to the office.Got told it was in process and we'd receive a check in the mail. Today I called corporate and found out no claim had been submitted.At office,were first told that everything was in process and we just had to wait.Another woman said she would look into it and found no claim.Only cover the penalties from the original letter in 2015, not the ones added now AFTER THEY FAILED TO SUBMIT the peace of mind.
