Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

David from Roto-Rooter (tech #4383) saved the day when our toilet overflowed and flooded our rooms (every resident's nightmare). His professionalism and expertise helped to calm our nerves. Unlike most plumbers who might do a quick patch-up work and be off on their way, David stayed and really tried to understand the root of the problem. Fortunately, his persistent paid off and he was able to solve the issue. I highly recommend them (and David if you can request him)!

Good arrived at a later time when I needed. Quick cheap good service. Howard 4285 was very friendly and knowledgeable.

They did three big jobs for me. The first one was in a bathroom. After they were done one of the pipes leaked. The next job involved a laundry room. That plumber installed a t-joint incorrectly and did not clean up well. The last job involved digging out the front yard and installing a new sewer pipe and a cleanout pipe.
They left the tree they had pulled out and also left a piece of edging with sharp edges and points sticking out of the ground, leaving us (who have kids) to dig the rest of the edging out 5 days before christmas. I kind of figured for $14,000 that they all would clean up more than they did and leave things safe.

We used Technician Jay #1057 and he fixed our backed up kitchen sink quickly. Was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

On Dec 1, 2017 we had a new kitchen sink installed. Our tech was Kelly (#2771). He was so professional! The night before, he came to give an free estimate. He was on time, explained everything the he would do, the cost, and how long it would take. The next day he came to complete the work. He finished sooner than expected and there was no surprise cost, exactly what he said the night before. I would definitely use Roto Rooter again and if you are looking for a professional, affordable (they were cheaper than other companies) and dependable company call Roto Rooter! Our sink has been in for over a week and we have had no problems.

We were very pleased and impressed with every aspect of the service provided by Roto-Rooter. The competence and courtesy of both David the service technician that did the rodding and Mark (#4322) who performed the visual inspection of our main drain line was excellent. The attentiveness of Roto-Rooter Customer Service in keeping us appraised of the status of our service requests was comforting in a very stressful situation. All of which is seldom encountered these days.

Following briefly describes the work performed by Roto-Rooter:
Our main drain line clogged requiring the family to refrain from using any facilities that drain to the community sewer system. Called Roto-Rooter at 8:30 am explaining our emergency situation. Roto-Rooter Service technician David arrived at 12:30 pm and, after witnessing the backup, diagnosed the problem as existing in the main drain line running from the house to the community sewer pipe. Spreading a plastic tarp, David cautiously drained the water remaining in the house drains into a large bucket to avoid an unsanitary mess. He then began rodding from the main clean-out trap exiting the house 150 feet into the street sewer while running water to assist in the rodding process. Two rodding's were performed. The first apparently to remove the obstruction and the second, using wider auger blades, to finish the cleaning. The job was completed about 4:00 pm and our water was draining freely.

The rodding took place on a Friday. On the following Monday we called to schedule a visual inspection of the cleaned main drain which was included in the price of the rodding. Mark, a Roto-Router Field Supervisor (#4322), came to our house in about an hour. He thoroughly explained the video inspection process and the potential problems it might discover. While viewing the inside of the drain line, he described what we were seeing. Fortunately, there were no problems seen in the entire line out to where it connects into the community sewer line.

Had plumbing issues on Thanksgiving am. Service response time was excellent.

- The guy who removed my toilet left the shimmy piece sticking out and did not seal the toilet.
- Kelly (#2771) came a few days later and did a great job fixing the prior job.
- I was told that a tree was the problem and I had to have part of my pipe replaced. I noticed on your website today that trenchless repairs are an option but this was never discussed with me. I am disappointed as I now have a huge pile of dirt on my lawn and will have to pay to sod the lawn in the spring.

The company got the technician to my house within less than an hour. The technician honored the on-line coupon and was careful to be clean in the area he worked and extremely respectful. My problem was tough, but he took his time and tried multiple ways until it was resolved. The tech offered future care tips and my overall experience was excellent. I would not hesitate to call this service again if and when needed. Well done Roto-Rooter! Thank you.

I called Roto-rooster because our floor drain had backed up with black sludge. From the original call to the job being completed, I was extremely happy! Jimmy, the one who did the work, was awesome...trusted him! And, he gave me a coupon from the website, which I didn't even know about. Highly recommend this company!

The repairman came within the time slot selected and was very helpful and professional . My only complain are the rates for the Service. In comparison with time and tools needed to complete the job the rates just feel like a total ripoff. Great staff , bad prices.

These guys saved the day. The sewer pipe from my home was clogged with "flushable" wipes and in growing tree/bush roots.

I called a plumber who misdiagnosed the situation and charged me over $400. When the last step they said they needed to do (which was incorrect) could not be done for another 24 hours, I called Roto Rooter. They called immediately and were at my doorstep to help.
