Chic, yet welcoming, Marchesa's art-filled interior delights guests from the moment they arrive. Continental cuisine, from Chef Didier Durand, is mostly French, but with Italian accents. Still & sparkling wines pair perfectly with the delicious food. Fall/winter highlights include lobster bisque, steak tartare, escargots, caviar service. lamb chops, steak frites and duck a l'orange. Main dining room offers stunning bar, brass chandeliers, fireplace, sculpture and colorful furniture. Lavish kitchen table overlooks nightly culinary action. Champagne Cave, open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, is a subterranean wine lair with private bar, barrel vaulted ceiling, velvet sofas and fireplace. Taittinger vault houses wine lockers available for collectors. The 2nd floor private dining room, The Apartment, channels a luxe Parisian home vibe & is available for pre-dinner cocktails or dinners for up to 50 guests. Warm and welcoming staff.
