Called to schedule an appointment and the receptionist forwards me to the nurse, who then forwards me back to the receptionist because she's not responsible for booking. I finally get an appointment scheduled only to receive a message two days later that they've double booked me and had to reschedule. The next day I receive another call because they've double booked me AGAIN and need to reschedule. I tell them that I cannot wait another week, so they offer to send me to their Kensington location so that I would not have to wait. I get to my appointment only to find that they can't see me because they haven't received my lab report from my previous provider. I tell them I also have the report in my email, the receptionist says it cant be emailed but has to be faxed. One of the doctors comes out and says that it doesnt have to be faxed but that I can print it out and bring it in. I personally fax over my report, because I don't have time to make an additional trip to drop off a lab report, and am told that they can't check to see if they received it until it shows up in their system and to "call back later". Who knows how many times I'll have to call before someone can tell me they've received my information. Overall this place has shown that they are disorganized and that the receptionists lack the knowledge and experience to provide quality service. I will DEFINITELY be looking into a different provider because this one no longer has my trust.
Not only are the woman who answer the phones there extremely rude to their customers but on many occasions when picking up my meds I witnessed with my own eyes the college kids working there filling prescriptions eating food but also wearing no gloves either. This is beyond discussing and I have filed a complaint and they should be shut down. Come to find out after leaving Parkside and getting my meds at rite aid I have come to find out that parkview pharmacy is a family run business and everyone is related to one another which goes to show some family members there are way to comfortable and think they can do whatever they want regardless of health standards.
We were EXTREMELY dissatisfied with our experience at Western New York Immediate Care. My wife's health issues were not diagnosed accurately. Her symptoms got worse after her visit. When she saw another doctor, they were baffled by the treatment prescribed by the Western NY Immediate Care doctor. Her health improved rapidly after getting a proper diagnosis from another doctor. To further make matters worse, Western NY Immediate Care has billed our insurance incorrectly and refuses to fix the problem, costing us hundreds of dollars for poor health services. They DO NOT bill as immediate care, they bill as "outpatient services." Every other immediate care that we have ever visited has charged no more than our co-pay. Western NY Immediate Care, however, if fighting us tooth and nail to get an extra $400 out of us. The immediate care facility that diagnosed my wife properly and prescribed the right meds that had her feeling better in a few days? Our $40 co-pay. Save yourself a lot of heartache and find another immediate care facility.
Very poor in service, The doctor was VERY VERY rude.. He insisted he was correct when he was not. His staff is informing new patients of services he DOES NOT do, when that new patient is looking for one type of treatment. NOT HAPPY AT ALL with this doctors office, VERY unprofessional !!!!
This place is full of rude employees. I recognize a respect for educated, well-trained staff no matter where you look in New York State. But the nurses at this hospital are short, mean and seem to get a rise out of patients' misery. I work with a local charity, and have been present for the labor of two of my mentees in the labor and delivery suite. One of my girls was crying in pain and nurse Janice told her: "You are having a baby! This how you are GOING to feel!" When the young woman told her she "couldn't take it", Nurse Janice yelled at her and screamed: "Stop talking like that!" I have had two children myself, and when I was giving birth, the nurses were there to rub my forehead, talk to me, and assure me that things would be okay. None of that happened for my friend. My other mentee was told she couldn't have pain medication. Her blood work was done, so she was clear for an epidural, but somehow, they failed to mention this to her family, claiming that she didn't "want one". This was not the case. She didn't want one RIGHT THEN. Instead, she wanted Newbane since she had been in labor for almost a whole day and was worn down. I have since heard many women from various Buffalo demographics about similar maltreatment and verbal abuse. ALSO - Nurse Janice made one of my girls who could hardly walk because of the level of pain she was experiencing, walk down two hallways...far ahead of her patient while she leaned against the wall, holding her back and crying, past a room where they were removing a container of BLOOD from a previous birth! NEVER have I seen such a terrible representation of the Hippocratic Oath that should trickle down to the nurse staff. Nurse Janice was the worst, but not the ONLY bad staff member I dealt with at this hospital.
