General Info: Founded in 1989, ResCare Alabama is a human services organization that provides job training and educational support to individuals. It serves people who suffer from developmental disabilities. The organization offers support services that help people with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities to grow and develop. ResCare Alabama provides residential and personalized care services for adults and senior citizens who suffer from illnesses, injuries and chronic disabilities. It also partners with a variety of public and private entities to provide education to youths. In addition, the organization helps young people in building independent living and social skills. ResCare Alabama offers services in residential treatment facilities, group homes and foster care settings. It additionally features the Job Corps program, which focuses on the education and training of young people. The organization is a part of ResCare, which maintains locations throughout the United States.
