Bought a used Glock 21 for $529, I never fired it and wanted to trade it in for another glock and they would not allow it. The skinny 4eyed idiot was getting loud for no reason and the short fat white haired old bitch said "give him $250 for it"I just paid $529 not even 24hrs prior.
I went in on Friday 01-06-17 between 10:30AM and 11:00AM to buy a pistol. Employees were leaving as I was waiting due to the weather. I was the last customer in there. I bought the gun quickly so they and myself could get home before the weather worsened. With this being a brand new pistol, and with the weather and time being an issue, I did not disassemble the gun. However, should I have to disassemble a brand new gun to make sure it's OK? I'm new to guns as well, so I didn't know how to disassemble it. So when I got home I showed my brother and let him disassemble it. We noticed that a part was broken in the inside of the gun that holds the slide in place. Not one bullet had even been loaded in the magazine or chamber. The next day, today 01-07-2017, I called to tell them about the issue. They said, "Bring it up here and we will look at it." I drove up there, on icy roads, to let them look at it. After waiting about 30 minutes to show the bald guy, he looked at it and said, "We're gonna have to send it back to the manufacturer." I asked if their were ANYTHING they could do other than that due to warranty claims taking 3-4 months (got this information from online forums). He said, "He could call the owner and see what he will do." His first words over the phone was, "We got a guy that bought this gun the other day." It was not "the other day" it was yesterday. Then kept saying, "we ain't ever seen one come in like that." And then I heard him say "2 or 3 weeks". Not sure what the owner asked him but I wouldn't doubt him telling the owner I purchased it 2 or 3 weeks ago. He did not tell the owner I PURCHASED THIS GUN YESTERDAY, OR THAT NOT ONE BULLET HAS BEEN IN THE CHAMBER. Bald guy kept saying, "yeah, we'll just have to send it back to the manufacturer." He sounded like he didn't give two craps about my gun and didn't want to deal with it. They'll never receive my business again. I have a lot of friends that they'll lose business too.
I went to Grabow (who was having a Smith & Wesson sale), BPW, and even shopped online and Southeastern Guns still had the lowest price on my S&W Bodyguard (bought it new for $309). last year I got an immaculate used AR-15 with 24" floating barrel, nikon M223 with sunshade, magpul PRS stock, bipod, and other internal upgrades for $950. Sold it a week later for $1,300 and have regretted it ever since.Bought a few other guns in the past from them and even though they don't remember me, I've only ever been treated well there. Even if I don't buy. Great guys
Have purchased 3 firearms from Southeastern. Their selection and customer service exceed any I've experienced!
I have purchased several firearms from Hoover tactical throughout the years. However my latest visit was less than be desired. This is the only company that I have ever seen that has high standards on selling gift cards all the way down to the point of who you were buying the gift card for. The gift cards never expire however if the person that bought you the gift card gets aggravated and decides that they're mad they can take the receipt back to Hoover tactical without the gift card and will be refunded their money . After two days and almost 3 managers later I was told they couldn't do anything for me that the gift card had been spent but couldn't give me any details even though my name was on the gift card . They also did not offer any type of compensation for the headache that they caused due to their misunderstanding and miss handling of their gift card through their system . My latest purchase from them will be my last and I do not recommend anyone go to the store.
I came to Southeastern Guns in Trussville Alabama so that I could buy my first gun, I just want let y'all know that Rachel Topping was the very sweet, kind lady that took her time with me, she went over every gun from the semi-auto to revolvers, so that we could the right, best gun I was needing n would work for me! I bought a Ruger LC, I really like it! Very good service, she took very good care of me! thank you for taking time with your customer Rachel! I really appreciate you taking your time with me and helping me pick the best gun I was looking and wanting! 5 STARS to Rachel
I have experienced rudeness before 'come back when you buy a glock' .. friends have a negative view ..yesterday at another store i overheard a couple saying se guns just lost a sale as he purchased gun for his wife ...
My husband & I went to buy my first gun. I didn't know what I wanted and the people here were so helpful. Jerry talked to me like I was his relative, helping me get a gun that I could handle. He even showed me how to hold it (with both thumbs on the same side of the gun) I am so happy with my experience and will be going back for more guns and supplies. I will be telling everyone about this place and there nice and knowledgeable salesmen.
Not only is the store over priced but the service is horrible. Also, the employees knowledge on their merchandise is minimal. The majority of the stock in the store is low quality with a few select items that are worth paying the high cost. So, if you want beyond rude customer service, highly marked up low end products, and a staff with absolutely no knowledge on their merchandise then I would suggest going here. However, if you want good service, quality products, and good prices then try somewhere like Birmingham Pistol Wholesale.
I keep coming back due to great prices, large selection and helpful staff. I have had nothing but good experiences there.
