I ordered 15 Lemon Pepper wings and 6 Catfish Filets and when I got home
Drove from Winewood area to the 1st Ave store to pickup my order of 50 whole wings for $35.99 (price on their website). Had to pay $54.99 because someone at the store changed the price on the in-store menu to $49.99 by the time I arrived to pick up my order. No one told me of the price change when I phoned in my order. Next time I want some chicken I'm going to Ensley Sea Food because they are only a mile away and they don't bait and switch their prices. I really like how fast & quickly your food is prepared & ready for you in a timely matter. And the cashier is very curious & very polite. And the food is always good.
Greensprings store my husband and i fought over thhe last morsels of gizzards we will be back
Food was good, atmosphere was good, and waiter was nice when he seldomly came around. I ordered a water but tea was brought instead. I asked again for water and even though I received it, the tea was left and we were charged for it. The waiter never offered refills and seemed to stay distracted. He wasn't that busy since there were only 2 other tables occupied other than ours and had a waitress taking care of them mostly. He didn't deserve a tip in my opinion, but my husband said to at least leave him a little one. So I did. I left a cash tip. My husband paid with our card and specifically put on the ticket $0 for the tip slot. For a couple of days I couldn't figure out why my bank ledger and our bank balance were not matching but after looking through our print out from the bank I noticed that there was our first initial charge, then another one from them for $10 more and then a credit placed back in our account for the initial amount. So without our consent they charged us for a $10 tip! The food is great, but I recommend taking cash to pay for your meal because apparently you cannot trust them to be honest with running your card info! I for one will NEVER go back!!
Very dissapointed. I counted 8 tables that needed to be cleaned. There was no sweet tea. The tray the food came on was dirty (it had a piece of lettece on it and was covered with crumbs all over it}. The trays on the counter in the kitchen were dirty but they were loading them with food anyway. We were there at 3:30 so it wasn't the lunch rush hour so there was no excuse for the way it looked inside. The service was good but if it looks like that next time I willl not eat there again.
Service is fast, food is always made to order.
I usually don't feel compelled to right a review, but this restaurant is well worth it. When I walked in the cantina a sweet, attractive hostess walked us to our table as we were surrounded by the exquisite atmosphere and detail of the restaurant. After gawking at everything around us our food arrives in a traditional stone plate where the food was tastefully placed. I ordered steak and enchilidas that blew my taste buds away!! That just so happened to fit nicely with the fantastic margarita. It was the best restaurant that my date could have picked to go to. The atmosphere was so exciting, fun and sexy! The manager, Matt Norman even stopped by our table and explained the fascinating details about the hand made chairs, tables, and stars. This was the first Mexican restaurant that I've been to that the servers could actually speak English well. Absolutely LOVED it!!
