Classic Cleaners

I'm using that Dry cleaning place for the last 15 years, at least..
Always prompt, and very polite and friendly service..

I also started using them bc they are very close to my house and very reasonably priced but they've ruined my stuff twice already. The first time they ruined a really expensive dress with bleach and told me it was like that when i left it (im sure it was not!). Shouldve learned my lesson then because 5 months later they ruined a silk skirt i dropped with a similar chemical- it is black and now has red stains all over. They called me 3 days after drop off to tell me it couldnt be cleaned i went to get it and it was clearly cleaned bc the dirta stains were no longr there but now ruined by bleach. Ive been trying to get a hold of the owner for 2 weeks but he is never in and they refuse to call him so i can speak to him on the phone. The manager was beyond rude- he agreed that it was cleaned by them but said he couldnt do anythin about it. He said all i was after was money but all i wanted was for him to fix my skirt and obviously if he cannot to pay me the retail price for the skirt, which i think is only reasonable! Bottom line never going back again! Be very careful

I used to love classic cleaners, good price, good quality cleaning! All of a sudden since the beginning of last year, things began to come back really badly pressed, some things they claimed they "could not clean" and I would go home and be able to easily clean them myself. They lost one of my husbands white shirts and they kept giving him others that were not his, like we are stupid. Never got it back, they tired us! The last and very bad thing that happened a few weeks ago, is that left them a very expensive Christopher Kane for J Brand jeans that I had scouted for a few months, my favorite red jeans with a leather black tuxedo stripe down the leg. I went to pick it up and was told they could not clean it because of the leather. I took a look at it and saw that they had cleaned it indeed and totally ruined them: the red was all tinted in black and the leather was all crunched up, a disaster!!!! First, they claimed that they had not cleaned it and to top it off they tried to tire me out by saying they will fix it. I went to pick it up knowing that was impossible and was finally told to call whom I guess is the manager; he claims that it is not their fault, that he will sue the manufacturer. I am sorry to say, the way these cleaners are working right now, don't even go near them!!!!!!

This place is horrible! Please please please go somewhere else. I never write reviews but I wouldn't want this place to do to someone else what was done to me. I am now taking the owner to court because he ruined a $250 shirt that is one of a kind with Swarovski Crystals. This place broke it and then the owner claimed it was brought to him like that then agreed to have it fixed after a month of arguments and then took two months to have it fixed then when it was finally returned the metal where they tried to repair it was so sharp that it would have cut me, the shirt has burn marks, stains, it looks horrible! Now the owner refuses to accept responsibility for it.
