Refuses to put trash cans back where they were placed and insists on placing a bin on each side of my driveway, limiting my space to backup in my driveway and blocks my mailbox. I reported this at least three times which has apparently upset them. My neighbors trash cans are replaced correctly. Next time, I'll cancel service and request a refund for the remainder of the term. Beware of prices....they employ a rate increase every few months. Started at $39.....now I'm at $65.

Liars and stealers! The previous owner had American disposal service. When I moved I got Republic services and they dropped my new bin near my house. But American Republic took the previous owners bins and a few weeks later stole my Republic services trash and recycle bins and when I called up to get it back they are giving me all stories and lying right on my face. Don't ever entertain American Disposal services at any time.
We've had American since they started service in our area off Blackwell and have gotten great service. They are on time and put our cans and our neighbors cans back where they were originally placed. If they drop any trash, they pick it up. My wife even saw them pick up a dead squirrel and toss in the truck last week. Our can got broke once and was replaced with one phone call. Not sure why there's such a difference in services.
Had my 1st encounter at the start of the New Year. Set my trash out 8am on pick up day. I always hear any trash truck when they come to pick up so I know without a doubt I didn't miss any trash trucks in my area.So my trash was not picked up on Monday the day after New Years, so I thought maybe they didn't operate. I spoke with customer service and their response was a lot of customers didn't have their trash out that morning and they start pick up at 7am. Since this company took over from Cycle Works they never showed up before 10am. I had to remove my trash, my neighbor who's up before the crack of dawn saw me moving my trash to only say to me that my company may have not ran yesterday (Monday), I should wait. I told him I had spoke with customer service already. He said that the other trash companies in the area came late in the afternoon. Lot of us uses different services. Needless to say that I'm in process of terminating their services, no do overs.
Use ANY other service. They will offer you a low rate to start and then begin raising the price every 3 months. There service is horrible they do not even bother to pull the carts back onto your property they just leave them in the road and we have very narrow streets In Our neighborhood so it causes problems on trash day . Not to mention it makes it look trashy. They just do not care enough to provide a quality service.
DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We had service with them for 2 years. Service was terrible throughout. We recently cancelled and are now going through a local company that we love, and they are saying 3 months later that out bins were never picked up. HELLO YOU PICKED THEM UP. They are criminals and trying to rob people every way they can.
Horrible service. Requested a transfer of service to my new address. Was told that they do service my area, only to learn a week and a half later that they don't. So, waste has been piling up at the house, and I could have avoided further delay in service. Then, when speaking with one of their Agents, she states they tried to call me a couple of times, but my voicemail isn't set up, and was talking over me as if I did something wrong. Well, my voicemail is freaking set up, and that's beside the point. American Disposal should have been able to determine right away whether or not they service my new address--not a week and a half later!!! Just horrible! Now I have a pile up of trash that is beginning to smell and I have to wait another week for pick up from another provider. I am awaiting a call from the Service Manager. We'll see if this happens. I will escalate. Stop lying to consumers! Ridiculous.
This is even worse customer service than ANY cable company ever thought about! When I reached out several times to get my trash picked up after they missed 1 of 2 or both cans - no results. Called everyday for 4 days and still no results - no apology, no trash pickup. DO NOT make the mistake of signing with these people. I escalated to a manager and still no results. I was paying for recycling service and their "waste management engineers" would throw it all in the regular trash truck. Asked, for new cans after the "engineers" ruined mine - told me to have the cans empty on the same day as pickup or they could not replace and they couldn't say when they would be emptied. They make TRASH pickup a miserable experience.
