Overall Health: Patients need to be in good overall health both physically and mentally. You must maintain a stable weight recently as weight loss and gain can impact your results.
Primary Care
If you decide to move forward with the procedure at the consultation, specific steps need to be taken before the operation. Safety is Dr. Brent’s primary concern. With that, in addition to the physical examination, you will need to undergo routine lab work. This will need to be done with your primary care physician, or our office can refer you to a local doctor. All of this paperwork needs to be submitted at least two weeks before surgery to ensure you are fully prepared and in good health.

I am a well-known, accomplished 45-year-old male surgeon from New York City who sought out Dr. Brent Moelleken and traveled to L.A. for surgical treatment. Acne Treatment
Lesions
Fractora™ treatments are minimally-invasive and deliver the same level of powerful skin rejuvenation as fractional CO2 laser treatments and even excisional surgery but with only minimal downtime. Some patients may experience micro lesions and slight redness for several days to a week after treatment but can use regular skincare products and makeup 1-2 days after the treatment. You will see an improvement in the quality of your skin immediately, but optimal results will be visible about two weeks after the treatment, and improvement will continue for up to three months. While some patients may achieve the best results with only one treatment, other patients may require a series of up to six treatments for optimal results.
Chemical Peels
Other methods can include moderate chemical peels or resurfacing techniques. These also work well for hyperpigmentation scarring, which occurs when surface scars appear as dark patches on your skin.
