One Market Restaurant

This has got to be one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. I know it's sppose to be a Michelin 1 star restaurant. But I have got to say that McDonald food taste so much better. I went there the other day for a business lunch. Ordered a roasted chicken. Looked super plain on the outside. After cutting the chicken open for a first bite, I noticed it was raw inside. I know we're not suppose to be eating raw chicken so I called the waitress explained the situation. She told me that it's suppose to be raw. Wow, I told myself, are you crazy?!! You can get sick from eating raw chicken!! Anyway, she took the chicken back and had it baked a little more. The chicken came back in a few minutes and I finally was able to enjoy the chicken. However, upon the first bite, the chicken just tasted blend. The $5 roasted chicken at Costco taste 10 times better. I didn't even finish it because it was so tasteless. Michelin 1 star?!!! I don't know...I rather eat at McDonald.

Had dinner last night for my friend and I's 5 year anniversary from work with my boss and our significant others. Food excellent! Service? - ummm....wow! How can I say this politely? - can't. If you go, please be aware...this was my first time and I'm hoping that if I do go back I do not get Jo'phine...really bad...c'mon 3 hour dinner for 3 courses. I would understand a 3 hour dinner with 8 courses, but 3?! 30 minutes just to get drinks, 30 minutes for appetizers, 30 minutes for dinners (figure - we consumed our dinner in about 30 minutes), 20 minutes for the dishes to be cleared (our plates were empty just in case you were wondering), 20 minutes to bring out dessert. To her credit, she did pick up the bill pretty quick. Service is a big part of the experience when your dinning at a restaurant that charges the way they do! 2 Stars for the food...Zero for the service...btw...it's not like we could have complained, we didn't want our food to come back with a little extra if you get my drift. Sorry one more thing Jo'phine - we could not understand you all night when you did remember to check on us!!!!

If you are looking for a restaurant with an unbeatable location then go to One Market. Other than that, there really isn't much else the restaurant has to offer. The service is not up to par with other comparable restaurants. The food wasn't unique nor memorable. Unfortunately, you'll end up paying for a high end meal and service without actually getting it in return.

Never had a bad meal here. I'm a fan of their seafood and caesar salad. They have great desserts too.
