        SGC is a full service glass company that has been family owned and operated in San Antonio since our doors first opened in 1914. After 100 years of service, our glass and aluminum products are in homes and buildings throughout the city and surrounding area. Our 70,000 square foot facility houses a large stock of glass, which is custom cut to meet your needs. We incorporate our automated glass cutting table, beveling/polishing machines and hole press to expedite the fulfillment of your glass needs. With our in-house Insulating Glass Unit fabrication line, we are able to provide IGU’s quickly, as well as custom fabricate to almost any size and shape. Our insulating glass is tested by an independent laboratory for resistance to seal failure, and has maintained a quality rating since the fabrication line was first implemented in 1979. With in-house fabrication, our metal shop incorporates Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Machinery to turn around custom doors and storefronts on a rapid basis. We have 24-Hour Emergency service, so we are always there when you need us. The Samuels team is built with some of the most experienced glass and aluminum professionals in the industry, and our goal is to always deliver a top quality product and customer experience.         Samuel Glass is a "true professional" Company that goes above and beyond to support their customers. They also give military discounts, but their customers service is one of a kind to say they do a swift, clean and proper job. Mr. Jason L. did the proper measurement, although when installing my window Mr. Rubin Hidalgo found a gab that during the measuring Jason wouldn’t be able to notice the gab. It was then that Rubin adjusted its measurements and re-ordered the proper window size. It was another week to wait for the window but worth the wait. Rubin was on time, swift, professional and cleaned after himself. A true professional. I’m very pleased with his service and Samuel Glass! Thank you for everything!

        Overall

        The previous reviewer must have encountered Kathy over at Samuels Glass Co. I had the same experience. I had my shower re tiled and wanted to purchase a frameless shower enclosure . I called Samuels Glass co and was advised that this was custom glass work and I needed to speak with Kathy at the San Pedro location to schedule someone to come out and measure for an estimate. I called and asked for her and was told she was at lunch so I left a message with a number for her to call me back, she never did so I called back over and over again. When I finally reached her I found her to be quite arrogant and rude however I was able to get an appointment scheduled. The tech came out and took the measurements then the fun really started. I put my project on hold and waited for her to call with the estimate. 2 weeks later and still no call so I started calling again, when I finally reached her she said " if I haven't called you back it's probably because I haven't gotten to it yet" I was shocked I thought Samuels Glass was a better company than that. 



        This was in June and it is now September and still no call from Kathy and no estimate. This Lady must own the Company or at least be the owners wife or child to have that attitude and get away with it. What's funny is I was set on using Samuels Glass co for this job all I needed was the price and to schedule the work and she convinced me that I should go elsewhere . 



        I ended up calling San Antonio Shower Doors and it was all done in a timely manner and at a fair price. I guess I should thank Kathy because she probably saved me some money and I am certain she saved me some headaches down the road.
