I worked here as a teenager now I'm in my 40's and the people that run it treat it like their own personal club house. They try to tell you what you can and can not wear. I came in with welders cap on with the flap over my right ear. First they tried to say i can't have my hat on backwards I explained it was a welders cap to protect my head and ears from weld spatter. Then they said it wasn't allowed to be worn at all that I would have to remove it or leave. I took off my mask and gave her a smile then she threatened to call the law on me for not wearing my mask as I was walking to the exit. These people are left wing nut jobs! I will never spend money here again.

Beware of what you buy at Leonard's Hardware Store here in Russellville.
I make walking cane for disabled Vets that can't afford them, I give them one. I needed a sander and went to Leonard's and bought a Craftsman sander because the one I had burned up. I get it home into my work shop and start making handles for my canes and when it got hot, the filter started blowing the hot air in my face. I take it back the same day and was told too bad for me, I used it... therefore I can't get my money back. I told him, how was I too know that the filter would blow hot air into my face unless I use it and find out, I didn't know it would do that and they didn't tell me it would. It isn't right, so be careful on what you buy because no matter the circumstances... its yours. Jubul

I do like Leonards. The mess is part of the "charm". As to the lady with the concealed carry issue in a store. I wonder why it is OK for you to defend yourself in your place of business but its not OK for the customers?

Thank God they won't allow weapons. My husband has the concealed handgun permit but agrees he does not want to shop in a store with nuts carrying guns, and he knows no one needs a gun everywhere. He got the permit for our business - not to go to other peoples homes or business. Way to go. An intellignt decision left in the world and made in Russellville.

This is a great place to shop. They have everything you need for your house. If you can't the item you want, just ask one the employee and they can find it.
