High Desert Montessori School

This has been a wonderful place for our children to grow, learn and thrive.

My 6 year old daughter started going here at the beginning of the school year 2012. Admittedly my daughter is very independent and occasionally stubborn Which was the reason I put her in this school ( I was assured that this type of behavior is what they specialize in) This school boasts organization and structure but the children are allowed to run free and seemingly do as they please. They pack as many kids in a class room as possible and try to convince you it's somehow different to local public schools. The principal's ability to control her teachers and her school as a whole is laughable, her teachers are terribly under qualified, mostly still childlike themselves.

Pretty much ANY time these lazy people have to actually deal with a challenge regarding the children they demand you drop everything and come in for a meeting with the principal. Which half the time the principle isn't present for.

Then they proceed to tell you that basically they don't have time to do exactly what they claim to specialize in which is teach my daughter something other then finger painting and recess, which they consistently fail to do. This school gets high ratings because quite a few of the area's upper class take their children here giving it the outward appearance of quality. Don't waste your time with this school you might as well just enroll your child in the public school in your zone or perhaps paying for private school. it is not my intention to trash talk, I would genuinely like to prevent anyone from having to deal with the absolute nonsense you will most assuredly have to tolerate if you choose to take your children to this school.
