Central High School is located in Providence, R.I., and is a division of Providence Public School. Central High School is a coeducational school and enrolls more than 1,600 students in grades nine through 12. The school offers law, career and technical, and business courses. It also provides regular and special education, and English language learning programs. The school provides a wide variety of athletic activities, including football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, softball and baseball. It also has an online journal and offers various learning support programs, such as credit recovery, individual, substance abuse and group counseling, tutorial program, mentoring, mediation, internship, dual enrollment, literacy coaching and nursing service.
