Bit of an oddball review as I ended up not purchasing a vehicle from Scranton. But being in sales myself I did want to take a minute to recognize one of their employees, Bill Buswell. I'm from PA and found a vehicle on their site I was interested in. A few photos online weren't clear and I had several questions about the car. I called in and spoke with Bill and within 15 minutes all my questions were answered and I had over a dozen photos texted to me that detailed my areas of concern. While this particular car didn't end up being the right car for me, I would not hesitate to do business with Scranton and more specifically with Bill. He has a low pressure sales approach paired with a genuine willingness to help that can't be faked. Also he takes a no as gracefully as a yes! Thanks again for your help Bill.

LOVE this dealership! Went in just to kind of browse, sat down with Kamila for all of ten minutes to go over what I was looking for. Ten minutes later she comes back with the PERFECT vehicle pulled right up so we could check it out. Which was fantastic considering it was raining and had a 2 year old in tow. We put a small deposit on the car, went about our day, came back later that night to everything done and ready to go for my signature. The parts department and sales manager are also amazing and hysterical AND have got things done when they've said ������������

Bought a Chevy Impala from them in 2006. They told me that it was a loaner/dealer car that they had purchased from GM. Found out later on via snail mail that the car had been purchased from Enterprise Rental Agency and was part of a lawsuit for not having any side curtain airbags. At the time I purchased the vehicle, part of the deal was that I get a workable spare key for the car. They gave me a spare key that unlocks the door. However, the spare key will not start the vehicle. I took the car into the service department several years ago. One of the issues that I was having was that the remote door lock pad was not working. When I made the appointment and when I took the vehicle into the shop on the day of the appointment, I made the service people aware of the crack that had developed on the remote lock pad. The woman behind the counter even commented on how deep the crack was. After waiting for a while, one of the service personal informed me that the crack was not the problem; the problem was that the reception antenna in the vehicle needed to be replaced. He quoted me a price of several hundred dollars to replace the antenna, which I had done. Within several weeks, I was having problems with the remote lock again. I made another appointment and brought the car back in. This time, they diagnosed the problem as being the crack in the pad was squeezing some plastic pieces inwards on the wires and that the pad would have to be replaced. To replace it, it would cost several hundred more dollars. I asked why this was not diagnosed the first time I was in weeks prior. They said that they were not aware of the crack, even though the woman from the first visit was standing right there and stated that she did remember the crack. Within the last several months, I found out that the ignition key recall for GM cars affected my vehicle. I went to the dealership to schedule an appointment to have the issue fixed. I was told that they do not have the parts and that they would call me back when they had the parts in. Over the last week, I received a call from Mallon's. The person who called did not leave a name or telephone number or extension. I called back today. The people in the service department were extremely rude and discourteous. This car was the second and last car that I will ever buy here. I will never buy another car from this dealership.

Horrible!!!

I took my 2011 Chevy malibu to the collision center there after I was in an accident. The front passenger bumper was smashed. When I went to pick it up the paint of the bumper didnt match at all. Daw said its was because "its plastic and plastic doesn't match metal" but the back bumper is plastic too and it doesn't match the new paint on the front bumper. What she said is nonsense. Plus the headlight didnt work either. Im working with my insurance for them to fix the pain job. They're supposed to be a gaurenteed workplace. More like gaurenteed bs!!!

i was recently in a car accident and my was totaled. this dealership is the most professional, helpful one i have ever been to. The automotive shop helpped me out so much i cant express my graditude to them and especially the head of the automovtive department, Dawn. she was so kind. You can assure i will purchase my new car here and all my future cars.
