I wanted to replace my bathroom shower and vanity top because I was tired of using my toothbrush to clean grout lines. I started researching products and found that using Corian offers a way to have a seamless space without all the hassles of cleaning tile! I called Goober Company #1 and they said THEY were better than everyone else, but couldn't tell me why. Their prices and customer service left me looking for someone else to have in my home. I called goober #2, who said they had been in town the longest, even though the current owner took over from the original, and THEY said they were better than everyone else! Noticing the theme and wishing for better, I called Mac Sawhill at Spectrum Solid Surfacing.



Finally! I found a person that took the time to show me exactly what he would do for me! And, he is the one that does the measuring, fabrication and installation! He wouldn't be out on the golf course, he would be at MY job and responsible for the work! Mac explained how my shower would have a custom shaved pan, the walls would be color matched to the floor and everything would be seamless. (I actually have about 22 pieces in my shower, but I can't tell where one ends and one begins!) He made everything. He wrapped my window, the window sill, gave me a custom sized shampoo box with a cool soap shelf and custom seat in the shower. He coved everything and made my vanity with seamless bowls! I can now use my toothbrush to (gasp) brush my teeth! (Not the one I used in the shower, mind you.) I also no longer have to gas myself out of the bathroom with caustic cleaning supplies in an attempt to rid my shower of mold and mildew! I breathe easier and clean less and know that if I ever sell, the bathroom will sell itself because the next people won’t have to change a thing!



From start to finish, Mac and his wife explained every step of the process and delivered on everything they promised. They gave me extra work at no charge because of the "coolness" factor and because Mac thought it would "look better." I felt totally at ease with the decisions we made and the advice that Mac gave. His 25 years of experience really shows and I never felt like I was "just another customer" like I did with goober #1 and #2. Don't waste your time calling the others and start with the best! You won't regret getting to know Mac and Kenda and you will LOVE the work they do!
