It's our go to place on route to Old Saybrook from Huntington, NY. There isn't a bad dish there from Wonton soup to tom yum soup through lo mein, all is tasty. Reminiscent of what the dumpling houses used to be in Chinatown, like Wo Hop and Big Wong. They should add soup dumplings is about the sole critical comment I can make

Ivy Noodle is a gem. Yes, it's noisy and the service is abrubt (really, in an asian restaurant?). The food is great. Sit at the counter near the cook and watch the show. Otherwise, it's shared tables and crowded and noisy--perfect!
