My observation is that it is not a good place to be and quite content to lose repeat clientele if it means quick cash This business does not pawn and therefore circumvents all NH laws pertaining to the pawn business. You actually sign an agreement allowing them to sell your item in 30 days if you do not return. And they do so without hesitation or with any inclination to work with customers.



An actual pawn shop in the truest form of the word is subject to NH laws requiring them to hold onto goods for an extended period of time to allow customers a fair chance to secure items once interest has been paid. You are not protected by those laws,



The Gold and Pawn hides behind the ruse of being an actual pawn shop. No concept of customer service and their type of clients are very easy prey. THIS IS IS A BAD BUSINESS and you have to be very careful to understand that it is not a pawn shop in the real sense of the word. You sell your goods when you sign what you think is a pawn slip protected by NH laws. THIS IS NOT TRUE.
