Valley Party Equipment Rentals

We hired this company for our wedding. They were three hours late dropping off the tables, chairs, and heaters, which meant my husband was running around trying to take care of the drop during our rehearsal. When we made the initial order at the shop, the company told us to call back to schedule the pick-up, as the normal person who coordinated pick ups wasn't there.



When I called again a couple of weeks later to coordinate the pick-up, the representative I spoke to was very rude when I requested a pick up on Saturday evening. He insisted that they wouldn't do a pick up until Monday morning. I asked how they wanted me to store 50 chairs, 8 tables, three 6-foot heaters, and a possible tent in a park until Monday. He then asked how they were supposed to know it was an outdoor event. I told him 1: you never asked, and 2: we're renting heaters and have a 50+ capacity tent with sides put on reserve. Did you really think this was an INDOOR event?!



We managed to arrange storage until Monday (since we had friends with a garage who really, really love us) so all should have been well. Except, when we broke out the equipment that had been delivered the evening before, about half the chairs had grass and dirt on them from old events, and the 6-foot heaters were supposed to be white. Instead, they were dented, one was bent, and mostly peeling off white spray paint with the regular factory grey finish underneath. They were awful. Thankfully it was a warm-ish day, so we didn't have to use them.



No apologies, no customer service, and inferior products. Their catalog had good prices and selection, but the reality wasn't worth it.
