This place should be investigated for animal abuse. My parents took their dog for a preview cut to ensure that it was the right place for our dog. They pretended to know how to cut our dogs hair as we wanted. When my father picked our dog up the next day he could hear our 2 and a half year old yelping in agony, something she NEVER does. When he saw her she had clumps of taken out of her coat, she was not cut as requested and her entire belly and paws were covered in urine. Her skin was pink and red as if she had been nipped by the groomer. Then, the receptionist asked for an additional $20 above what was previously quoted because the groomer had to spend more time than they expected. When my father got home my mother smelled her paws and could immediately tell it was urine. When they called to complain the receptionist was rude and unprofessional. My father then talked to the owner who contradicted herself several times before finally offering to give half of their money back. My parents are almost certain that our dog was abused due to her condition and her disposition when she returned home. She was embarrassed to even be seen. My parents felt terrible and took her to give her another bath to clean the urine and to try to help with the spots on her skin that still show a day later. The owner threatened to take my parents to small claims court if my father cancelled his check, however my parents are considering their options given the fact that there are clear signs of animal abuse. DO NOT take your pets to this place. They are unprofessional, rude and abusive

The Canine Connection did an AWESOME job grooming my lab! The price was fair and the staff was very nice to me and my dog. I definitely will return and recommend this groomer to my friends.
