Giddings Downtown Restaurant

I hope the owner is happy that they now have fewer customers due to the mistreatment of the gastric bypass customer. They are busy enough as it is, apparently. But the food is good. I've dined here, and our family has frequently rented the upstairs dining room for parties and family get-togethers.

Next time I see a couple sharing a plate, I'll be sure to call the police. Stealing is so wrong!

Instead of appreciating that someone has been nice enough to stop-in and try your products and services, and may go off and spread the word about good food and service, you harass them. Not a good business practice. Perhaps a business school, or a class in professionalism should be on the agenda.

My husband and I drive through Giddings often and decided to stop in and try them out. The server was very sweet. Food was mediocre at best. It's severed cafeteria style so it's pre cooked and kept warm. I'm a gastric bypass patient so I barely eat, so their menu offers the option of one meat for 8.95. Or 2 for 11.95. So we got 2 meats so I could nibble while my husband ate. The owner was horrible actually saying we were stealing because I didn't order a complete meal. We paid for exactly what we got and it shouldn't matter if we share. It's not a buffet. She flat out called us thieves because we shared a meal. She was horrible. I would never go back to any place that treats their customers so rudely.
