        The Dempsey & Baxter families have been involved in the Jewelry Industry for forty years. Stemming from a two-man operation in 1968, the business has grown on a reputation for honest dealings and fair prices on the highest quality jewelry, accessories, and giftware. Our current facility at 6032 Peach Street houses the Dempsey & Baxter team. Our seventeen member team carries dozens of degrees, certifications, and accreditation from all across the industry. Members of our staff currently hold certificates from the Gemological Institute of America in almost all areas of the jewelry industry including Diamonds and Diamond Grading, Colored Gemstones, Precious Metals, Pearls, and Appraisals.

        Have been making jewelry purchases from Dempsey and Baxter for 20 plus years. Jack and Sherry Dempsey are very helpful and easy to work with and prices are within reason. Always happy with the quality. My engagement ring and our wedding bands are from them, in addition to other items over the years. Great place to go for jewelry and coin needs.

        My fiance and I went to them...

        My fiance and I went to them to have a wedding band custom made and were willing to drop close to $3500 for the item. After 3 months of not hearing from them, we finally went in because our phone calls never got us anything but empty promises and excuses. Again, they took all of our information and plans for design and did not call us back 4 more times! We went elswhere because they obviously were not intersted in our business. And all of this was dealing directly with the owner, Jack. Would not recommend at all.
