Dental Care
Good dental health is essential to your pet's overall health. Our preventive care begins with dental exams during annual check ups and helping pet owners get started with at-home dental care. We also perform advanced procedures and treatments.
Comprehensive Examination
We provide comprehensive wellness exams, including skin and coat, eye, ear, and dental evaluations and make recommendations to keep your pet healthy and happy. We also make recommendations for behavior improvements, which may be a sign of physical or other stress. We also provide bi-annual senior exams that help in early identification of conditions that may occur as your animal gets older.

Hip Dysplasia Treatment
Dr. Parker considers himself a solid general practitioner, willing to examine and treat any pet, yet appreciates the importance of referring pets to board-certified specialists when indicated. He is certified in the Penn Hip method of evaluating dogs for hip dysplasia. He has advanced training and experience in care and medical treatment of pets other than dogs and cats, including birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, and other small mammals.
Kidney Disease Treatment
Antifreeze is very toxic and can cause kidney failure and death--and dogs love its sweet flavor. Clean up spills and make sure your dog does not have access to antifreeze, including spills at gas stations and rest stops. Signs of ingestion include lethargy, vomiting, incoordination, excessive urination, excessive thirst, low body temperature, seizures, and coma. If you suspect your dog has ingested antifreeze get him/her to a veterinarian immediately.

Veterinary Surgery
In our surgery suite we use advanced anesthetic protocols—the same inhalant anesthesia as in human care—and monitoring devices. Before and throughout any surgical care, our staff provides a high level of attention and compassion.

X-Ray
Our in-house digital radiography equipment provides high resolution images with less radiation exposure than traditional x-rays. The images are available instantly for review with you and are easily emailed to specialists.
