Matt and Will did a complete rebuild on my 86 5.0 motor and it came out amazing for a great price..

I have taken my cars here to be serviced many times for a variety of reasons. The service has always been outstanding. I'm paranoid so I always run the service estimates by my close friends who are former professional mechanics. Urban's prices are always appropriate or better. The bottom line is Matt and his team are trustworthy, affordable, and good at what they do

I was referred to Urban back in 2007. (Let me say this first. At the time I was 25 with an infant child. I get very paranoid when I hear ANY NOISE coming from my car. Matt knew that and he played on it. Every time I thought something was wrong with it I would take it to him and he would give me some cause and effect horror story like if u don't fix this then that is gonna happen. I was left on the bus plenty of times because of repairs he said it needed. The last time he said I needed a rack and pinion steering or I was gonna lose control of my steering and crash on the freeway. Of course I listened and left the car again. They tried to convince me that it needed to be junked and they would take it off my hands for $250. I went home and got the title. The deal was almost done but at the last minute I backed out and decided to keep "Big Red" (my red Ford Taurus) A week went by and I decided to take another mechanic. When I got there my car was gone. When I asked where it was they told me another mech went to get a tire for my car. I waited for 15mins when he pulled up he had a cigarette in his mouth and I'm not a smoker. He also didn't have a tire in the car. So they were using my supposedly non drivable car for their own personal errands. Finally the mech I brought with me looked at my car and told me nothing at all was wrong with it. September 2007 I drove my car off of the Urban's lot and never looked back. I never had to get the rack and pinion steering fixed from the time I drove it off the Urban lot til I traded it in for another car in Feb 09. An insider there also told me stories about some of the things he would do just to cheat people out of money. Leaving out fuses,loosening wires and spark plugs. Matt also had the nerve to try to argue with me when I took my car. I would never refer this place to anyone.
