Anderson Oaks Apartments

This apartment complex is horrid. I have lived here for almost two years, because it's the cheapest place I can find and it's in a great location. Other than that, it had NOTHING going for it. The apartments are disgusting; I am a clean person and no matter what I do, I have roaches in my kitchen. Even using roach traps, they still appear. The water is hit or miss. Some apartments have no cold water, some have no hot water. The laundry room is filthy, never cleaned. I have found feces in the washers! Left there for days! And the management... I don't even know where to start. I have had two different property managers during my time here and each are horrible at their job. They arrive late, they leave at least an hour and a half early and don't answer the phone! If you need anything done, good luck. It's not going to be taken care of, because it is impossible to reach someone. The Arbor Properties (the people who manage and own the complex) seriously need to up their hiring process.

They stole my money! I was going to rent an apartment there ...the day that we where supossed to move my husband got a notice that we might have to move to luisiana...so I went to the complex and explain the situation to the manager...she told me that I had until Monday ( it was a friday) to decide if wanted the apartment or not..... around 3 pm my husband called me and told me that we where staying in austin for 6 more months .... so he called the apartment complex to let PATTI ( the manager) know that we wanted the apartment ......she told him that the apartment was not longer available and that we lost our deposit.... 5 mins later she agreed to give us back our money she told my husband she was going to mail us the check

.....2 days ago I called to see what happened with the check she wasnt there ...as usual so I left her a message with the other lady that works there.

The next day she called to let us know that no, she was not going to give us our money back...
