I will forever defend that Ammazza is the best pizza in Atlanta (yes, Antico lovers, I'm a big fan of them too, but these guys take the cake...er...pie).
The reason I say that is because of their options - the pizzas on their menus are more appealing to me than anywhere else. I think the pizza is absolutely fabulous and I always wish I had 10 more slices when I'm done. The Inferno and the Terra simply can't be beat.

Ammazza reigns as my favorite pizza joint in Atlanta! It has a perfect atmosphere for a date or meal with group of friends. Relaxed, hip, but always buzzing on weekend nights. Really great wine list and some unique pizzas. I could eat a whole pizza on my own - a medium is good for 1-2 people, depending on how hungry you are! Ammazza is just down the street from the Edgewood bars, so a great place to go before a night out in Atlanta.

I love getting pizza here; it's incredible! There's never a long wait, and there's a nice bar to sit at if there aren't any tables or booths available. I love this little spot in Old Fourth Ward.

Some of the best pizza in Atlanta. You order and pay upfront at the counter and then seat yourself in a dining room that is a mix of private and community style tables (outside seating also available). The line can get really long but it moves pretty quick and once you place your order you'll have your food in 20 minutes or less. The pizza is Napoletana Style Wood Fired and it is AWESOME. The beer selection is great, there is a full bar, and wine is on tap. If you are still thirsty after dinner, the restaurant is walking distance from a variety of bars. Pretty perfect if you ask me.

The pizza is good, as is their beer selection. And the service is usually ok even if the lines always seem to be long. But I've had a couple of experiences with no lines, quick ordering and then 30 minutes of waiting for a pizza that takes 5 minutes to cook. I just don't understand how that can even happen and if it does, they should explain that the pizzas are backlogged and will take way longer than you'd ever expect. I'm almost ready to give up on Ammazza.

Old Forth Ward rival to Inman Park's Fritti. Great vibe and family friendly. Cool take out cartons, too.
