I first discovered Jason's in another city when our office catered lunch and I loved it. Their sandwiches hit the spot and were a fresh change of pace. Since then, Jason's Delis have sprouted up everywhere and the sandwiches are still delicious as are their soups. The salad bar is usually nice and fresh with a nice array leafy greens and toppings - feta, cheddar or mozzarella; sprouts; peas; carrots; red and yellow peppers, etc. The prices aren't a bargain, but they're not bad either. Highlights - the free dessert with the salad bar and the ice cream. Lowlights - some of the sandwiches do seem a bit greasier than necessary but I think that's owing to the hot-grilled rye and the buttery croissant sandwich breads. - We've come to call Jason's the "Dirty Dish Diner" because inevitably the salad bowls have a speck of something on them but I'm willing to look the other way.

From Business: At Schlotzsky's in Hapeville,GA you can enjoy fresh baked bread, delicious hot sandwiches, Artisan flatbreads, specialty pizzas, toasted wraps, freshly tossed sal…
When I visit Star Provisions, it is usually for the sandwich shop. FYI: they are moving everything in the store except for the sandwich shop to another location in West Midtown soon. Recommendations: -Shrimp Po Boy -Korean Beef on a SALAD with the Asian vinaigrette -The Roast Beef Sandwich -The meat tarte or any of the savory baked goods I love love love this place. They are surprisingly quick for an artisanal sandwich place, and everyone working there is friendly. They have a wide selection of gourmet chocolate, chips, and sodas. Ditch your Subway one day.
Souper Jenny is my favorite healthy lunch spot. If the name is any indication, they are famous for their soups! The menu changes daily and is made with quality fresh ingredients. I want whatever the staff at Souper Jenny eats for breakfast because they could not be in better moods. The lunch combo is a bowl of soup (which you can split into two cups because sometimes it's hard to pick just one soup), a salad or sandwich, and a drink and cookie. They do not skimp on portions so you get your money's worth. I could eat at Souper Jenny every day!!
I had a turkey sub from here the other day. It was pretty good- I think it had lettuce, tomato, cheese, oregano, pickle, onion, and a bread that was a bit soft but not soggy. Pretty good, though Publix (of all places) also makes a good sub. But it is nice since they are right at Emory commons, and it seems to be a hard place to do business. I hope they are successful.
The service is quick and I love how quiet you can sit inside the restaurant or outside in the mall area and enjoy a nice lunch. I have lentils soup which I absolutely love and a spinach salad. Would recommend this location to anyone. The staff is very friendly and courteous. It's always been a clean location as well it's a excellent health score of 98/A.
If you llove good Keylime, or Red Velvet cake this is the place to go . . . This is one of the most warm and inviting little french style bakery and dessert shop you will ever find. It is located on the southside of town, (College Park) You will be very delighted. Their baked goods and Ice cream desserts are fantastic . . .
Bagel palace is as authentic deli as you will find in Atlanta. The bagels and lox are fantastic, but everyone comes for their cheap greasy breakfasts. I love the hash browns. Can be crowded on weekends, and lots of Emory folks around. A great place for brunch or to load up on bagels for the week.
Souper Jenny is fantastic. They have added seating at a new vegan juice bar in the same shopping center. The line looks long but moves quickly. This is my go to lunch and take out place for healthy delicious meals! The not as healthy pecan coconut cookies are my occasional treat.
This is always my go-to place for lunch in midtown. There is never a wait, food is good and fast, and the menu is diverse. Management is on top of everything, and the staff always greet you with a smile. Decent pricing for in-town lunch. Most meals with a drink are under $10.
Really unique sandwiches. They have a muffaletta that comes a close second to one I had in NOLA (bread is not as good). Line was too long first few times I tried to go there, so I went before lunch rush and got served pretty fast. It aint cheap, but it is good!
