I need to say that Tammy, your office manager, (Watervliet) is the most pleasant office manager I have ever had to deal with, anywhere! She was patient, calm and especially understanding of my needs. A year ago, the cost of trash pickup, yard waste and recycling was costing me almost $400.00 a year! As much as I hate to, last year I ended recycling. This year, Tammy suggested a smaller trash bin, to save a little more, because living alone and being retired, I only need my trash picked up once every other month. Tammy also explained why it would be less expensive for me to pay for 4 yard waste bins, all year, than to have them delivered and picked back up for the two months I needed them. October and November. It never used to be this way, but now every little thing has a charge. I know how much businesses are struggling, but so are their customers. I'm sure the office workers are really sick of people, like me, calling, trying to get their costs down. I understand. I wasn't happy, either, that I didn't understand the changes and I apologize for that. Best Way has the best workers, the best office helpers and the best options of any of the other garbage companies, but they also have an office manager who goes above and beyond to help their customers. I'm glad she's the office manager, because with 9 office workers, I'm sure they are way too busy to deal with people who have similar concerns. So, hats off to Tammy! Instead of my feeling I had been over charged and needing to find another waste company, she took the time to understand the changes and what other options I could choose. Thank you, Tammy!
