Emily Cruz is a Brentwood resident and California native, who received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. She went on to become an assistant in a physical therapy office, and later worked as a medical scribe at an ENT clinic. Shortly after, she was accepted into the nursing program at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, and received a Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified in Family Practice by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, yet specializes in Women’s Health. When not working, Emily enjoys traveling, playing sports, and spending time with her husband, young daughter, and 4 pets.

Overall

The one sentence review of the...

The one sentence review of the place is simply this: The staff and doctors here are awful and show little concern for the patient.

The breakdown by staff is as follows:

* Patricia Geraghty (nurse practitioner) - Is awesome, and the only good thing about this practice.

* Dr Hanna - My wife saw her twice. The first time she seemed nice, the second time it just looked like she was waiting for the visit to be over as soon as possible.

* Dr Katz - He just made us feel awkward.

* Dr Hughes - He answers your questions BEFORE you finish them. Not because he's clairvoyant, but because he doesn't have the patience to let you finish your sentence. After each response, he'd ask "What else?" and glance at the door, as if he needed to leave.

* Administrative staff - These people are the worst. I get better service at O'reilly Auto Parts. I have been yelled at on the phone by them and even HUNG UP on.

I highly recommend you avoid this place.
