Primary Care
Dr. Jonathan Serrins completed primary care and ocular disease rotations at Veterans Affairs hospitals in Fresno, CA and Monterey, CA and is certified to diagnose and treat glaucoma. He is conversational in Spanish and is studying to become fluent. He has also started to learn Portuguese, Tagalog, and ASL to better serve our patients.

Dr. Van pursued a career in optometry inspired by a bond created with his own optometrist that began when he got his first pair of glasses at 8 years old. Twenty years later, he received his Doctorate of Optometry from UC Berkeley in 2019. During his final year of optometry school, he completed a 6 month externship at Miami VA, where he gained experience and developed a passion for managing diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and other ocular diseases. He is a therapeutic and glaucoma certified optometrist and his other interests include pediatrics and keratoconus.
