Really, really great place! I go here all the time and I really trust the guys to do a great job on all my vehicles. They have never given me a reason to doubt that they'll always do wonderful work. I already recommend them to everyone I talk to, and I will continue to do so.

You don't mind paying a fair price if you know you are not being cheated.What want in a auto repair shop is honesty! This place offers good prices, but more importantly an honest evaluation and very fair treatment of customers - very rare in this industry!! I love this place! Highly recommend!

My car needed an inspection badly, as I was overdue by a few weeks. I found this place and I waited to get my car inspected and it passed with flying colors. I will be back because the guys there were friendly, not creepy (like most auto shops appear to women).

My car finally gave out on me! The engine was done and I had it towed to the Protech Auto Service. My mechanic told me everything that was wrong in great detail and gave me a estimate. The price was amazing and he began working. He called me periodically just to let me know what was going on with it. When it came time to pick it up, I hadn't yet gotten my loans from school back and the manager did me a HUGE favor by letting me keep my car there until all my loans finalized. I really enjoyed working with this company and will continue to take my car here for oil changes.

If you need a smog check, this is a great location. If you arrive early in the morning during the week, you won't have to wait long. The staff is friendly and helpful and my car passed the test. :)

Amazing service!!!!!! I came in to get my brakes done and my oil changed. I could hear the screeching on my brakes and knew my brake pads were about through. I didn't want to wait and have to replace rotors so I made my way over here. I saw the excellent reviews and decided to give this place a shot. The mechanic was direct and honest. He told me what needed to be done soon and what could wait a while. He was the most honest mechanic I have ever met. You can rest assured that the job will be done right the first time using the highest quality of parts. Its well worth it!

The work was done in a very timely manner. The prices are fair, the atmosphere is fun, and the work is high quality. Not my usual auto place, but it will be now!

For about 7 years I've used them for smog checks, and they've repaired my car. Their prices are competitive with other in the area. The service was pretty good and they didn't cheat me, so that's a plus for an auto repair shop... :) I'd recommend them as above average auto people... there aren't any better in Tehachapi!
