have been going to Royalty nails for some time now and I like it. It is close to where I live and Lillian is wonderful. My recent experience was not so good, that is why I am rating it a 3 right now. Any other day I would have given them a 4 or better.Yesterday I went in to have my upper lip, eye brows, and arm pits waxed. It was an older lady who did it for me this time, not Lillian. She was kind and and took her time, but I noticed that she did one thing that Lillian does not do. She wax over the same area about 3 times. I noticed that once she was finished that it was still stinging a little. Well, once I made it home and looked in the mirror with my glasses on, I noticed a few areas were extra red. The next morning when I woke up, my eye brow and upper lip area was scabbed. So I went back to the shop to speak with the manager. He was not there, so one of the main ladies along with the lady who did my waxing came up to ask me what was wrong. Well I showed them the scabbed areas, and they started speaking to each other in their native tongues. The lady who did my waxing then went and got some neosporin and placed it on my scabs. She then said your skin is just sensitive and sent me on my way. Which I thought was horrible customer service, but since the manager was not there I thought it was best to wait.I later came back to ask for the manager again. He still not there so I left a message for him describing everything. I also placed on the note my name and number for a call back. I called before 7pm, but there was no answer. So tomorrow I am going to try to speak with the manager again. If he is a good manager he will call before I will call again or come back again. If this situation is not handled appropriately, I will call the BBB and also respond to my own post of the outcome.I can handle a few mistakes here and there, but at the end of the day I take customer service and respect very serious.This is an addition to my review: I just spoke with the manager this morning. He handled everything wonderfully. He also gave me store credit for future waxing. I know to stick with lillian from now on.
I have used many salons, having lived in Phoenix since 1977. I really appreciate the staff at Bien in Surprise, although they can be hard to understand at times. It's easy to understand their English in person than over the phone.What a truly appreciate is Jimmy and his skill to listen to what I want and make it happen. I've got to him with such requests as a thinner acrylic, more arched top, lower "smile" and an oval square. This is hard to convey to folks that have English as their primarily language, let alone their secondary language.One instance I received less-than-perfect service than I expected, and Jimmy made it right, no charge. I've been going to this place for a while now. I was going to a place before that I was paying $30-$35 just for a bare minimum pedicure at royalty nails I pay $30 and get A LOT more! Sugar scrub paraffin wax hot stone hot lotion hot towels!! And that is just the one of the "basic" ones. They have many option that go up from there for you to pick from. Tiffany is so sweet! She does such a good job! Pedi's mani's Acrylic Wax she does such a great job on all!!! She doesn't let you leave unhappy. She makes sure you are 100% Satisfied! Will continue to make my appointments with Tiffany!!
I used to go here for a while the place feel tense somehow I can't really describe it. Everyone was rude and the boss made the place seem stressed, but Amy was my favorite person, I always had my nail done by her. But now she has moved to a new place called Estrella's Nails, next to ACE across the street. Unless the place change up a few new things, I guess I will be moving on
I've been to the Bien Salon on Reems and Grand twice. I will definitely be returning next month. The minor difficulty with language is handled professionally. They are very courteous and quite skilled. The price is more than fair.
My nails tech is awesome she always takes her time with me and never tries to offer me services i didn't ask for which in return makes the price go up
This place is clean, no need to wait at all, price range much lower compare to other salon
