New owners and I ���� riding with them. They even randomly discount my rides for repetitive riding and prices have dropped. I even make reservations. They are usually busy so dont get upset when you get a busy signal just keep calling because they are way better than strangers from lyft or uber. #newera
I am new to the area with no transportation at this time. A friend suggested I use Yellow Cab. I called to be picked up from the Mall. The lady who answered said approx. 10 mins. And within 8 mins I was picked up. The taxi driver that picked me up was very nice and told me about some awesome places to check out in Sumter. I was so glad I chose yellow cab for transportation. Not only were they on time there prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them.
Never came. Said he was a few minutes away. 45 minutes and numerous unanswered calls later, had to call someone else. Never use this service.
This is by far the worst taxi company I have ever dealt with. The driver was extremely rude and aggressive. I coordinated with dispatch to be picked up behind a state building, and the driver went to the front. This caused me to call again, and the driver came back. When he picked me up, he was yelling and cursing. He called dispatch and started arguing with him over the radio. I felt extremely uncomfortable, and vowed to never use their service again. I also urge for anyone that considers using this service to use über or anyone else.
I take cabs quite frequently. I am from NYC recently relocated in sumter, sc. I have a taxi driver who is my usual who is very polite and he was out of town today. I Calley this horrible taxi service at 8am. First of all when some one answers and yells "HELLO?" I replied "hi, good morning, may I have a cab at _______ please?" The obnoxious ...on the other end replied "MAM where are where iz it I pickin u up at "? I politely repeated. He says "a ight " then hangs up. I had to be at work by 8:45am. When no one arrived or followed up with me 20 min later I called back. The same guy says "ms. I'm getting you a damn cab now ... hangs up". I called a few times after that growing impatient, by this time I don't want their service any more but I need to be at work. Impatiently waiting I look out the window and see a cab driver going in circles. My first thought was that's the driver, of course he's at the wrong apartment, so I step outside and then he drives out the apt complex.. I call back and he states "ms, where the heck are u he lookin for u " I asked him not to yell at me. When the driver finally found me, we're immediately start off on the wrong foot , I instead of him saying hi I'm sorry ma'am I'm sorry for the inconvenience I couldn't find the location my manager didn't give me the appropriate information he says ma'am why didn't you give him the right address I'm sitting over here looking for you blah blah blah I said excuse me first thing first to not yell at me second thing okay if you're a manager would have listened instead of yelling in the phone when I told him my address and I tried to give him my apartment number and I gave it to him about 3 times but he speaking over me that's not my problem you guys need a better business plan because you guys really suck you know if it were me I would just go ahead and drive me to work cuz I don't have time for this and then you hear the guy in the background yelling at me yelling at me then the guy on the radio was like $14 charter $14 and I'm like you gotta be kidding me she's going to charge me 14 dollars because you came 45 minutes late I'm late for work and you're still being an inconvenience so we start yelling and cursing and its just being horrible and I said you know what take me back when you pick me up I do not want to use your service and I'm going to get in contact with the Better Business Bureau because the service that you're providing to this town is absolutely disgusting and this is the worst experience I've ever had a taxi driver in my entire life people in New York has better business then you so if I were you I would just go home and do whatever it is that you do but this is a terrible business service for you....BOTTOM LINE - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY!
