Excellent, professional movers! I needed someone to move a piano from Springfield to Bolivar, and I was worried because I only had a short window to do so~~ when you're hiring last minute you're kind of stuck with whatever you can get. I was pleasantly surprised: they showed up on time, answered phone and texts promptly, and were careful, friendly, and polite. The move itself was professionally done: they had the right equipment for moving a piano, secured it very carefully in their moving truck, covered it with their protective blankets, and were cautious when moving it up and down stairs. They set it up without a scratch or ding, and I didn't even have to lift a finger! (Until I started playing, of course!) If you are looking for efficient, reasonably priced movers, I'd definitely recommend calling these guys first!

Do not hire this moving company. I had to be out of my house by 10:00am. I was told they would be here between 8:00am and 9:00am. They didn't show up until 10:26am (by this time the landlord had already started painting the interior so my furniture had to be maneuvered around wet paint) . When I called them around 8:50am to inquire as to their location and ETA I was told their truck wouldn't start and they had to go get another truck. I was then blamed and told I never informed them I had to be out of my home by 10:00am. Which is untrue, they were told multiple times. I called the company again at 10:15am to let them know that no one had arrived yet. I was informed that they got lost. I said, "I'm not paying for them getting lost [your time starts from when they leave their business]." She angrily responds, "I'll have the boss call you." Then hangs up on me. SLOWEST movers ever. I moved three pieces of furniture outside to my driveway in the time it took them to load one piece of furniture on the truck (they wasted 30 minutes trying to figure out how they wanted to load the truck). One man moved all of my items; the other stayed on the truck. I was also told not to remove my clothes from my dresser because it would be Saran wrapped. It wasn't. Also, I conveyed how large of a project this would be since two households would be joining and there would be double everything; so you would think that would have alerted them to the fact that more men would have better. Two men is all I got. One stayed on the truck and the other moved everything. If you have a deadline, do not hire this company. A professional company would have had their truck ready to go the morning of, knowing it would start. Two Men and A Truck quoted me $1,500.00, so I thought $85.00 per hour wasn't too bad. I was wrong. You get what you pay for.Total wasted time they spent chatting and screwing around in the truck: 3-4 hours. Which, of course, I had to pay for. Ended up with a broken dresser, scratched armoire, broken display shelves, gouged leather couch and chair. It ended up costing $1062.50 (this isn't counting the $100 deposit already paid). They finally left the house around 1:00am.
Brian J must have just having a bad day: We have had One Man and His Dolly move us numerous times over the last few years and also had them move our daughter. We could not have been more pleased. They have always been courteous and mostly on time. yes that have been 5 or 10 minutes later than they said, BIG WHOOP. Sometimes it is unavoidable. These people have been well trained and are always very careful with our furniture. We will not use anyone else in the future.
Very disappointed. I went be previous reviews when I chose this company. I received nothing near 5 star service. I gave precise instructions including photos, notes, and a map. Movers started lated, went to wrong location, and could not find the storage location. Also they did not call me to update status. I called after 40 minutes only to hear something went wrong with trailer and "they should be there." Okay, waited another 45 minutes. No call, nothing. Finally had to deliver a load myself in my truck. THEN they call. I said I would be back in 20 minutes. If they want to wait, fine; if not, fine. They did not wait. So many things hinged on this step in the move. This company completely screwed up the day. Will now cost me more $$ in storage fees, more $$ in temporary living, time wasted, etc.
The owner Johnny worked with me to move a washer and dryer at night which is such a wonderful service. He was professional, careful and kind. And affordable! Thank you. I'll use your company again.
We expected big problems moving our 1000 lb gun safe. One Man & His Dolly solved our problem. Thanks ya'll for moving our safe and being so professional about it. Would use again!
