My first time eating here I was really pleased with the food, it was pricey, but good quality. My second and last time, I ordered a Torta, just that. I paid $9.87 which is way overpriced. Didn't even get the little Chile sauce that comes with Tortas or tacos. Apparently, that was extra! The food was cold and they couldn't even cut the bread through. I will drive to Nashville next time I want a good Torta. Might as well be Taco Bell crap!
Well we once enjoyed this place until today we ordered a few drinks from the bar. We have done this before our tab has always been very resnable. Today when we ordered our tab was over $100. When we asked why there was such a discrepancy in the price they informed us they do not have a drink menu so prices for drinkers by the the shot or glass are not set. Well that's just crap. How can our bill for the exact same thing be $35 last time and $100 this time. We will not be back.
We were so excited when this Pollo Tropical opened in Smyrna. They have very unique chicken dishes. I especially love their tropichops. Friendly employees and clean facilities.
Excited to try but disappointed. The restaurant is very nice. My girlfriend and I tried it Sunday, 7/17 around 2:30, so it was not that busy at all. We were craving Mexican and wanted a beer, only to find out they cannot serve beer yet, that was a bummer but not terrible. The section we sat in had four booths and four tables. Three tables and one booth were occupied, the rest had dirty dishes on them... the entire two hours we were there. It seemed our waitress only had three tables while a different waiter had the other table. It took a while for her to take our order but not terrible. What was bad was waiting for our check. After we were finished eating, it took about an hour for us to leave. On top of all of that, I am paying for it today. Very disappointed but might try again in a few months... maybe. The table behind us was very vocal about being upset by the poor service as well. We asked for the manager on the way out, but was told they were busy in the back.
Run of the mill Mexican food without any surprises, or unique dishes, but pretty good quality meats. The employees were very nice too.
Great place. I see Hispanic families eating here often and I believe they still do karaoke on Saturdays/Sunday's which is entertaining if you don't mind it being a bit noisier. I love the burritos Mexicanos (tender pork) and tacos de carna asana. My husband loves the chimichanga smothered in cheese. The "monster burrito" is huge, big enough to feed multiple people! Friendly staff who gladly accommodates pick up orders.
Stale, greasy chips, horrible service, took forever to get food and it was cold and taste horrible. Salt was solid in shaker. Only good thing was the diet coke.
Food wasn't that good to begin with and then we see mold in the lights! Not coming back!
Horrible service for the last 3 times we were there. They forgot about us, never checked back for drink refills and never brought us the check. We had to go to the front to get the check so we could pay our bill. We waited 45 minutes but no one ever came even after asking someone at the front counter. Also, their restrooms are terribly nasty. I sometimes judge a restaurant on the cleanliness of their restrooms. If they can't keep those clean, their kitchen most likely isn't. I used to love this place, now they seem to think it is ok to treat old customers who have stood by them for years, like crap. The service was awful and the food, quite frankly, isn't what it used to be. I seriously don't understand how they keep the business they currently have. I would not recommend them any longer. There was a time I would have, but no longer.
Went in for dinner, food was ok. Not great but fresh. It is an upgraded Taco Bell.
