Electrocardiogram
Electromyography (EMG) translates to "the writing down of the electrical activity of muscle." It is similar to the electrocardiography (EKG) for the heart.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) measure how fast nerve impulses travel within your body. A blockage may indicate nerve injury. This diagram shows the NCS procedure for detecting carpal tunnel syndrome.

Ultrasound
As a physiatrist, Dr. Singh has extensive training in electrodiagnostic medicine and is fellowship-trained in the use of fluoroscopically-guided spinal injections for cervical and lumbar disorders, ultrasound-guided injections for the treatment of peripheral joint disorders, intramuscular stimulation (dry needling), trigger point injections, prolotherapy and PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections.
MRI
Christopher has extensive experience in orthopedic surgery and occupational medicine. His experience includes injection therapies for large joints, small joints, and tendon sheath injections. He applies a combination of patient history, physical examination, imaging such as X-ray and MRI, electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS), and other studies as needed to achieve the most accurate diagnosis.

Christopher graduated from Rocky Mountain College with his Master of Physician Assistant Studies and later graduated with his Doctor of Medical Science. He has trained in a variety of surgical specialties including, Orthopedics, ENT, Plastic surgery, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Neurosurgery. He is originally from Wyoming and is now resides in the Pacific Northwest. Christopher is comfortable with patients of all backgrounds and strives to customize his treatments to their individual needs.

Whiplash
These injuries are most often caused by trauma. For example, among whiplash patients, the cervical facet joints have been implicated as a major source of chronic neck pain, often involving the upper cervical facet joints, most often the C2-3 level. Pain from an injured facet joint is often “referred” to an adjacent area, for example the back of the head or upper back area, depending on which facet joint has been injured.
Pinched Nerve
A pinched nerve in the neck often causes tingling, pain, and weakness into one or both arms. Arm symptoms depends on the affected nerve root(s), with the C7, C6, and C5 nerve roots most commonly involved, roughly in that order. Patients often have pain and tingling from the neck or shoulder into the hand, and their pattern of weakness will depend on the nerve roots involved. For example, patients with C7 nerve root involvement would have difficulty doing a push-up and tingling into the middle fingers of the hand. Patients with C5 nerve root involvement would have more difficulty with bicep curls, and tingling further up the arm rather than the hand.
