Fantastic Company

The negative comment posted about Safeguard Property Management has nothing to do with the company located in Sandy, UT. They are completely separate companies in different states. Safeguard Property Mgmt. in Utah is a very reputable company that has an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau. Homeowner

My daughter purchased a home in Columbia, TN on 8/28/09. A few weeks later it was broken into by employee(s) of Safeguard from Ohio and their locks were put on the doors and gas fireplaces logs were stolen. There was a new refrigerator and new stove in the kitchen and a new front loading washer/dryer sitting in the diningarea waiting installation. Walls/windows had been repainted. It was being fixed up, getting ready to be moved into. New locks wereput on the doors. My daughter called hysterical and in tears stating that someone had broken into her home. Police were called and it was found that Safeguard had done this from orders from HSBC bank. All they had to do was call the Courthouse in Columbia and they would have been told that the new owner was my daughter and not the former owners. The bank knew this was in bankruptsy by the former owners and was being sold, which it was. This irresponsible act has devasted the entire family and they will not make restitution.

Watch out Safeguard Property Management will steal from your propertyI?m one of the multitude of homeowners which house got foreclosed. I told my lender and the safeguard inspector that when it is time to foreclose just to give me a call and I will take my stuff out and give them the keys to the property, so they don?t have to break the locks.Just the opposite, one day I went to my property and look around and all my tools were missing, some were never used. I checked all the doors and windows but they were shut and then I found that one of the locks was changed by safeguard. I contacted the company 3 times but they were not willing to help. Please don?t trust them because besides the lost of your home you will loose some of your personal valuables.
