Please do not get insurance with them. From what I hear they are having major financial problems and they are firing all there employees.The cops have been spotted in there talking with the owner.

I would seriously advice you to stay clear. I wouldn't be surprised if they shut down operations pretty soon in which case you would have to renew you policy with another agent.

I have only had insurance with Floyd Mays for a few years although I have known him for at least 25 years and he has been a terrific friend and supporter to the towing industry. Floyd addresses business groups and has excellent presentations on running efficient businesses and improving profits. He can be counted on to give an honest answer to any question posed to him and his interest is in providing facts that can help any company.



He has been a pioneer in the towing industry because of his willingness to assist anytime he is called upon and you do not have to climb a "phone tree" to get to him. He has contributed to many worthy causes though he never mentions this. His keen business knowledge makes it possible for him to bring refreshing new ideas to any company. He has attended many towing classes (including many of mine) and this has made it possible for him to understand the recovery challenges facing professional tow operators.



I have written for a national towing magazine for over 17 years and Floyd has been my consultant on insurance liability and he has written a good many such articles himself.



Floyd Mays Insurance can be counted on when buying new insurance coverage, council on what coverages are needed and which ones are wasted money. HIs incentive has been to provide what the customer needs, not what Floyd wants to sell. Even if you do not buy from him, he is an excellent source of advice and information.
