This is my first time to utilize Powerhouse Cycles. As with many small shops it is not in the center of retail areas; however it is extremely convenient to get to. The owner personally helped me to remove my cycle from my trailer, get it to where it needed to be put, allowed me to park my trailer and leave it there until my cycle was repaired. This was at opening about 9 AM. Right after noon, 12:10 just three hours later without even an appointment, he called to advise me my cycle was ready to go. Wow. My experience with the dealer is that the cycle will set and "cool" that long before anyone will even look at it. Here the rear tire/wheel was removed, a new tire and stem installed and ready to go. I picked up the cycle after 2 and when home and promptly went on a ride. Smooth as glass. The tire was balanced for all speeds, no vibration, great work. I highly recommend.
Jon save my day. My kawasaki Vulcan had a clutch problem and the same day that he got the bike towed to his shop, he emailed with what the problem was, and the cost to repair it. He did the work as promised and could not be happier. Great mechanic, honest and would highly recommend his shop.

I took my bike there to have handgrips changed! They were the wrong kind unfortunately and instead of turning me away, they cut them and fixed them to my bike, and did it all in 30 minutes! And to make it even better, they did not charge me extra at all! Love this shop and would highly recommend!
I brought them my bike to put a new cable for the choke. I trailered it and brought it home. A day or two later I tried to start it and it wouldn't start. I brought it back. After it was "fixed" and they "tested" it right before I picked it up, once again I trailered it. I got it home and started it. This time it ran but idled at 4,000 rpm. At that point I took it to Bucket heads who did a great job and fixed it for a couple of hundred bucks. They said the choke cable was not installed properly. I then called Mike with My Rulez and he refused to pay the $200. He said I should have brought it back to him. I'm thinking the name of this business says it all. Expect to follow Mike's rules as the customer is definitely not king here!!!!

After paying them $438 to clean the carburetor, it took me 29 days to get my bike back after calling them every other day; just to find out that the cause a gas leak from pettcock valve. When I asked them about the leak and why the tank was loose, they answer that they didn't touch the tank and the valve. Make me wonder how did they get to the carburetor? AndThey were saying that the bike was already leaking. If that would be true what kind of professional mechanic would let you take the bike with that safety issue and let you jeopardize your life. Why they didn't mention it at the beginning or when they gave me the bike back. Now they want me to pay to fix the leak and order a new part for $146 when the dealer sales it for $46. Not enough with that what it makes it worse is that attitude of the owners. The wife will make you wait for 30 minutes while she is talking about personal stuff instead of taking care of the customers. I could keep going and going with so many complains about this imitation of a repair shop but I think that you guys get the idea. Please, don't waste your money and time in this place.
