Overall
Not honest and will lead you on

I should have never gone back after the first time. They took a month and a half to finally install my distributor and do the timing. I took my car back to install the wiper motor. After almost three months of them giving me excuses as a week into them claiming they lost my wiper motor I had enough and went to take my car. They tried to scam me into ordering a so called dealer part for $150 which btw I can order at O'reillys for under $70. Needless to say my car wouldn't run the day I came to take it back as have to have it towed home By my bf's AAA. The battery and alternator were fried, had to replace them and my car hasn't ran since. They refused to refund me the money I paid for my part from O'reilly's and ignored supposed called from the BBb rep John. I find it amazing they have such a high score with the BBB as I can name three other people now that have been ripped off one way or another by them.

response to Leos response: 2/13/2011

I NEVER wanted anything done for free as Leo claims. If that were the case I would not have shelled out $129.00 distributer install and timing over a year ago with them, I made a deal with his brother Juan aka Tony who runs the shop with him to install my wiper motor which I bought from O'reilly for under $70. They would give me excuses as to why the work was not done each day my boyfriend drove me up there to see if anything was done and they would tell me sorry we were busy couldn't get to it. We went up there just about every day because when we called Juan/Tony usually was said to be away at a junk yard looking for parts for another repair on another vehicle. This went on almost 3 months. I advised them that I was on unemployment and I could not afford to keep waiting for said repair. The deal was $40 for wiper motor install with Juan/Tony. Never did I state I wanted it done for free or ask any other mechanic to do it for free as Leo and Juan were the only mechanics I could speak to that spoke ENGLISH. So after making me wait almost 3 months Juan/Tony said he would install my wiper motor for free and only charge labor for my oil change and coolant flush/fill. I provided the supplies. A week before I decided I had enough of the bs. Juan/Tony claims they lost my wiper motor. I gave him some time to find it and nothing came up. So both of them tried to bait and switch me into having them order a so called dealer only part for my car wanting me to pay about double what I paid for it at O'Reilly. Mazda no longer carries parts for my car. I then realized they were pulling a scam and gave Juan/Tony 3 choices, 1. find my part, 2. replace my part, or I go to the news stations. So far I have contacted one news station and I am going to contact the rest. They never made any attempt to recover my almost $70 part. I was furious at the point when my bf and I went up there to take my car back. I also had my bf record their conversation. My car had to be towed home after they let it sit almost 3 months and didn't do the repair requested. I still do not have my wiper motor and I am unable to have my car inspected to be legal to drive. The battery and alternator both had to be replaced and I have not been able to drive my car since before it was in the shop. I have been paying car insurance on my car all this time to let it sit in one spot. Since all this transpired I have learned they have other customers and previous employees that have been ripped off. My almost $70 part may not seem like a lot but that is $70 I do not have to order another part. It's theft..
