I needed replacement u-brackets for a rola roof rack. I googled it and redtrailers.com showed up with them for around 5 bucks a piece. I ordered 4, chose priority shipping which should be 3-5 days for about 12 dollars. I received a confirmation email with no tracking number or anything, but I just figured they'd send one later. Almost two weeks later I was still waiting for my package. I called and was informed that they were waiting on their shipment from the manufacturer which was very irritating to me because there was no disclaimer about it not being in stock. So basically their company is just a middle man. They said they worked in the warehouse and everyone else was in a meeting so I asked if he could have someone call me back when they get out. No calls.. ever. I had a lot going on after that so I kind of forgot about the roof rack. Finally today I remembered and called redtrailers again, almost a month after my order was put in! I was put on a silent hold for what seemed like forever, then asked to leave my name and phone number because he was on hold with the manufacturer. I asked to just cancel my order. He told me if they shipped it already then it couldn't be canceled and that's what he'd call me back for. Got the call a few minutes later and was told my order would be canceled. They weren't going to get a shipment for my parts for another 3 weeks. This is the worst business plan I've ever heard of. You order through them, they order through the manufacturer, they wait for it to be shipped to them, then finally they'll ship it to you. If I didn't cancel, based on what I was told, it would've taken over 2 months to get some mounting hardware. I could only imagine if you ordered a trailer! Don't waste your time. Cut out the middle man and just order it through the manufacturer itself. At least you'll know if it's in stock or not. Biggest waste of time ever. I just wish i could give them less than 1 star.
