Conway Lakes Nursing Center

I give this facility a ZERO. It looks very nice, but appearances are quite deceiving. The staff is absolutely garbage. I really don't know any other word that would describe them. Garbage. It's a paycheck to them, nothing else. When you decide to get into the medical and care giving field, you have to really want to do that and genuinely CARE about the patients. That's why they call you a CARE giver. When a patient buzzes for help, they take their sweet time responding so patients end up soiling their clothes, or worse, falling to get to the bathroom themselves. My father fell because no one came in time to help him to the bathroom and we were not called until 4 HOURS after he fell and he was not even examined. They threw him in the bed and allowed him to fall asleep without a second thought. If you don't care about your loved ones, this is the place to dump them. If you care about your loved one, FIND ANOTHER PLACE!!!!

I hope they get shut down before they hurt or kill someone else.

My grandfather recently stayed there for a few weeks after he suffered a major heart attack. We thought he would never be the same, but after going to Conway Lakes he was a brand new man with perfect health. We can't thank them enough for how well they treated him. He actually wanted to stay because he did not want to go home to my grandmother. He was given first class service and they treated him with great care and affection. They made sure his needs and wants were fulfilled each and every day. We would recommend this place to anyone who has to go for rehab. it is the best center in Central Florida hands down.

This facility was horrible. I was sent home continually with highly soiled clothing. Full of urine and fecies.Apon ariving everytime she was in bed in a wet depends completely full. Her socks were never changed which reguardless if she is not walking on them or is the need to be changed. Which leads me to believe they were not bathing her properly. They changed the med without informing me or her cardiologist (which almost caused afib) They do not document anything. wherther they change meds take blood pressure or dispence an asprin. Please be advised that Conway Lakes takes on in looks to be a great facility but the staff either don't know what they are doing or just don't care. I am so glad her stay was not for long.

I just wanted to share my great experience at Conway Lakes. My husband had a recent hospital stay and needed therapy before returning home. We met the marketing people at the hospital and we were very impressed. My daughter and I toured the facility on a Saturday, and after 15 minutes there, we knew this place was where we wanted my husband to go. The other facilities in the area that we toured did not present as nice - the staff at Conway Lakes was pleasant and informative. On tuesday when my husband was admitted, they had his room ready and they knew exactly what time he was coming. The "admission" C.N.A. helped us get all checked in and even delivered a dinner tray to me and my daughter. Needless to say, the therapy was great and just over a month my husband was home, stronger than ever. I'm hoping we don't ever require their services again, but if we do, Conway Lakes is our only option. We have even recommended a church friend, who is there now and is loving it. Gives this facility a try and I'm sure you will pick them.

If you have a loved one who is in need of rehab, take them somewhere else. The peoople there are RUDE and INCOMPASSIONATE!!! My family member had the displeasure of being there not too long ago and the staff did nothing. They do not care if your family member is a fall precaution or if they need help eating. They are too wrapped up in theirOWN personal situations to care anything about or to help the patient!!!!! When you trust a facility to take care of your loved one one would assume that they wouldd take care of them as if they were their own family. Well that's the mistake I made when I entrusted my loved on to that facility...I assumed. Please DO NOT mak the same mistake I did by choosing this facility to meet your rehab needs. Pleas think twice and do plenty of research. What appears to be a nice compationate place can be deceving.
