They never return calls. Never can talk to the property manager. We were told all repairs in the house we are renting is our responsibility included siding and painting of porches.
Great company with great people. They treat their clients like partners. The leadership is kind and empowering. Their brokers, property managers are knowledgeable, experienced, hard working and courteous.
Awesome guy! Invested in me as a person not just a client. Very professional personal and hardworking. I would recommend Tony to anyone
Worse landlords we have ever had. Mary Schon is a slumlord. She bought our duplex, raised the rent by $195 then refused to fix or update anything. We finally moved after 2 months of a broken stove, a front window that wouldn't open and 11 year old carpet that she refused to update. There was also leaking from the pipes to downstairs, that she ignored. I could go on for paragraphs, but bottom line is stay clear of this company she and her husband own as well as Schon Enterprises.
"Tony Borer was my first supervisor and offered me my first job. Through his leadership I learned about integrity, honesty, teamwork, ethical business practices, customer service and the importance of standing up for yourself if you felt that something wasn't right. As a teenager, the lessons I learned over those 4 years of working with Tony molded the business professional that I am today. Having Tony as mentor and friend has meant the world to me. After Christopher Thomas and I got married in November we were so excited to meet with Tony about buying our first home. As we look at making one of our biggest financial decisions as husband and wife, we find comfort in having Tony help us with this decision."
Wonderful guy, very good at what he does! Great to work with, very accommodating, and gets the job done quickly!
HOME BUYER BEWARE I was looking forward to working with a professional real estate agency at BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY firm in the Lincoln area on the purchase of my new residence but it was anything but easy going. I found my agent SUSAN BUETTNER's experience desperately lacking too late into the buying process and found that closing became a huge nightmare catastrophe mostly due to her lack of knowledge and ability to handle simple requirements that one would expect from an agent during the closing process. When I called her on discrepancies and mistakes she became hostile and defensive. Her lousy attitude and insinuations towards me only added insult to injury during the process. Not sure why she was an attorney and is no longer licensed or a member of the NE Bar but is now a real estate agent. Perhaps she was as bad of an attorney as she is now a real estate agent. Save yourself the headache of working with her on the purchase of your new home and look elsewhere.
