Absolutely beautiful, simple, home cooked food run by a mother/son team.We especially love how they ban cell phone chatter in the restaurant, thus enabling all their patrons to enjoy a good meal without having to hear some loudmouth announce all of his or her business while folks are trying to eat.Great pies, cakes, and cookies, too!

Went for the first time to Golden Chick. Was unable to place an order because no one in the place could speak English. Very disappointing. I gave them a one star because there isn't an option to give them less.
The worst chicken place I have ever ate at, I got chicken crumbs for gidgets, the roll was so old and hard it was literally crumbling on top, if I had checked my order they would certainly hot it back, never again and everyone I know I will warn them about it

The staff knew immediately about my order when I told them I placed an order by phone. The restaurant was clean and the staff was nice. Nice portion size too. I would definitely order from here again. Great food for the money.
Keep on driving. We went here last night for dinner. As we were waiting for someone to take our order, I remembered that we had been here once before a couple of years ago. I then remembered why we had never gone back. Can you say really bad customer service? I can. They have roasted chicken, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatos and gravy, corn and cole slaw prominently listed on their menu. THEY WERE OUT OF ALL OF THESE ITEMS...at dinner time. I guess the dinner hour snuck up on them and they didn't see it coming, so they had no time to prepare. We ordered, waited about 30 minutes, got home and didn't have all of our order. We will never, ever go back. They had about 5-6 employees there at the time and about as many customers and they couldn't make it happen. Very unorganized.

Cheap, you get very little for the money, I got the 10 layer lasagna it was not 10 layer at less than an inch high, it is all self service!

All of the staff is very helpful and friendly. Don't forget to try those cookies, I do the three pack myself. A pleasant choice for the whole family any day of the week. Yum!
