Established in 1973, The Children's School of New Cumberland provides early childhood education programs for the New Cumberland and surrounding West Shore community. It has a nursery school, pre-kindergarten classes and Kindergarten classes for its students. The center's kindergarten program includes reading, writing, science and math concepts, fine motor skills and art, music, and drama lessons. It has a Christian based curriculum designed for its students. The school is registered with the department of education and licensed by the department of public welfare. The Children's School is a member of the Keystone Stars.
