A-1 American

I would like to commend the technician, Tim who responded for the service call. This man went out of his way. He was friendly and confident and he explained all that he had to do. This man worked all by himself, all day. Thank you A-1, for having this man as part of your team. He cleaned up every bit of his trash. Than you again Tim. You are an asset to this company.

Scheduling an appointment was easy and the receptionist was very pleasant. John and Larry called when they were on their way and arrived promptly. Price was on the high side, which was the only reason I gave 4 stars, otherwise they were professional, fixed the leak in my ceiling, and cleaned up after themselves.

Fantastic! Jake has been helping us since we moved into the home in 2012. He usually only needs to do an annual service for us, but this time one of our units had died. It had lasted well over a decade. He was great about giving us options and once we selected one he got it installed and running the next day. It works wonderful and we could not be more pleased with the service we received.

I called A-1 on Tuesday morning. James sold me the system on Tuesday afternoon. He started work early on Wednesday and worked alone until dark to bring us online. There was a glitch that caused him a lengthy delay, but he did not make us pay for it with another hot, sleepless night by his quitting early. Wednesday was cooler than Tuesday when James spent perhaps 30 minutes in our 140 degree attic examining the blower and duct work. Nevertheless, it was hard, hot work and he was working alone up and down a ladder into the attic. It goes without saying that there was no cussing, complaining, hammer-throwing, banging, excuse making, self-justification, tomfoolery or wasted time. On Thursday he returned with a crew and finished the job. The men worked well as a team.

We've decreased the size of our heat pump, but I can already feel more cool air coming out of the duct vents on the far side of the house than I've ever felt. That is because James analyzed the problem, and offered a systemic solution that cools my house better and will save money month-to-month in the long run. He didn't sell is a bigger heat pump; he sold us a better, more suitable system. And I don't mean he sold me like some fast-talking high-binder, it was a soft, thoughtful approach that considered what I really needed and matched that with the products and services that their company could provide and guarantee. That's integrity!

We had a problem where our sink was not draining at all. I called around to plumbing companies in the area and A-1 had the best rates and the most friendly people on the phone. I booked an appointment right there on the line and they were wonderful and flexible with the schedule as I wanted my husband home for the appointment. John and Larry were our technicians and called before they arrived (a half hour before) to let me know that they were almost at my house. Upon arriving they came in, looked at not only the problem sink but the bathroom we were concerned about as well. Right away they were able to tell what the problem was and approximately where it was at. They went over 2 different ways that they had to fix it and the cost before we moved forward. They also told us about the discounts they had and how we could get them. With their combined knowledge and expertise we felt more than ok to let them fix it, and fix it they did! I cannot believe how quickly they were done once they began, especially since my husband and I had tried for 2 days to fix it on our own. Our drains have not sounded that good since we have owned this house. I cannot say enough good things about the company or the men that did the work, we will be using them in the future.

A-1 American is a great service. Our heater had been giving us trouble. It was 30 degrees outside and our heater was not keeping up with heating our home. We called A-1 American and we had a response the first call, a technician was at our home within an hour and our heater was working within 2 hours or fixing the problem. Same day service, and the technician was very professional. He also allowed my husband to shadow him to see how everything works. We will definitely be using this service again and recommend them to others. Thank you A-1!

Bryan was the best i had a clogged kitchen and bathroom drain on top of that the toilet in the downstairs bathroom was back up also but bryan was very professional he quoted me a price for all the work before he started and being a older woman its hard to trust people but he had that very warm trusting face and put my mine at ease doing a great job and not stopping until all was done and satisfactory to me.Again thank you Bryan and A-1 America would HIGHLY recommend you

I had a pipe freeze in the crawl space under the house. I wrapped it in silicone tape and then called A1 at 8:20am the next morning and told them "I need a pipe fixed but there's no rush, I know you're busy, " At 10:25am your guys called to say they were on the way; they arrived at 10.40 and were finished at 11:20am -- pretty quick! I also appreciated that as they came in and out of the house to get at the main cutoff, they took particular care not to track any mud in--they did better at that than I did, in fact. Good job!

My experience with A-1 American is one that I am proud to post as the technician Jake was sharp. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He made me feel great as a customer and was more then satisfied, I was overwhelmed with the job he did ripping out my split unit and replacing my furnace, coil and air conditioner. He didn't stop until the job was complete. Thank you A-1 American. You lived up to your reputation of higher standers

I had a drain problem. Called A-1 and they responded quickly. Brian was very friendly and professional when he arrived. He first told me what it would cost and I appreciated knowing this up front. I apprised him of the problem and he immediately set to work taking apart the sink and running a snake through the line. He checked the line to see that it was then draining properly and replaced the needed parts to the sink. I was thoroughly satisfied with his work and would recommend A-1 to others.

I had a sewer line issue, caused an awful smell when I used my washing machine. Called A-1 on a Sunday, Larry and John came out, scheduled a time during the daylight hours that was convenient for me to run a camera and then flush out the line that was filled with years of crud. These men were very friendly, accommodating, and professional. I am very happy with their work and have not had any more issues. Will definitely use them again:)

A-1 replaced a toilet for me. I was very pleased in not only the workmanship and fair price but that everything was explained to me.

We had a drain pipe that was blocked somewhere under the house that caused the kitchen sink to overflow when the washing machine drained. A-1 American was on the job about an hour after I called and quickly had the drain cleared once the convoluted nature of our old plumbing was determined from the crawlspace. Bryan and his helper were polite and carefully cleaned up behind themselves. Thanks guys for your good work.

We had a main water line break and the pipe needed to be replaced all the way from the house to the street. Rick and Cody came, assessed the situation and explained what had to be done. They were diligent, courteous and extremely helpful. I will definitely call them again if the need arises.

We needed a shut off valve replaced under our kitchen sink. Larry came out he was very effeciant, informative , and courtious. I would use A-1 american again and recommend them . thanks larry for your wonderful service

Kitchen Faucet Replacement



I had a leaky kitchen faucet and the screws were so rusted in place I broke the first one trying to get it out. Not wanting to make things worse I called A-1 American. Larry and John arrived on time, determined the faucet was beyond repair, got and installed a replacement that was probably a better quality faucet than the original. From the time they first arrived until they left was only about 2 hours and the work area was cleaner than when they got there

I had a leak in my shower faucet and I called A-1 American. John and Larry came and quickly diagnosed the problem. They returned the next day and completed the repair. They both were professional and friendly. I would recommend them .
